The trees give more shade every time we visit. Still, bring a hat and drinks on a sunny day, it can get hot. This is a man made wetland, close to a road and houses. The birds are used to people. Some even pose as a group.

Very little bird life at present. Evidence of neglect and mismanagement. While well designed it was completely disappointing because of the invasive species out of control.

Lovely place but not after it rains as extensive parts of the track end up submerged.

Nice walk. Saw many birds. Heard many frogs. Even noted a blue tongue lizard. Only negative, water bit stagnant and smelly in parts.

Only saw a few birds, but I admit that mid-afternoon in summer was probably the wrong time to be there

At the moment the Etiwanda wetlands are in flood due to the Murray River flooding. So worth at look at from the Levi banks that are there at the moment. Full of wildlife and the frogs are quire loud in the evenings.
