Went there for the wine tour with tasting and 5 course lunch degustation .Our guide Steve was great with information on the vineyard and kitchen garden ,All the wines were great.The lunch was a highlight for us , staff were great and the food was top notch.Highly recommend.Only missed the first course photo as we already ate it before remembering to take a photo !

A perfect dining experience. 5 stars across the board. The atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. The menu was unique and delicious. I definitely recommend paying extra to have your wine selection paired with your food. Everything we ate was grown on the 150 hectare property. We will return with family. What a wonderful experience sharing a wine over the fire after desert. We can’t wait to return.

We started with the winery & kitchen garden tour of Margan which was informative & fun, lots of try before you buy. We then had a beautiful lunch in the restaurant, food & service were excellent & the wine list was extensive. Thank you for a wonderful experience

A wonderful day at Margan Wines today - Steve's talk on vines & wines, from farm to food was great. Our meal was delicious - the Binnie Wagyu was exceptional, and the paired wines were simply perfect. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the 5 course degustation with matching wines. The food was fresh and delicious, highlighting what was seasonal.Our waiter was very attentive, friendly and informative. He was very knowledgeable about all the wines and was able to answer any questions we had. Overall it was a wonderful experience, we felt very pampered and I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys good food and wine.

We enjoyed a lovely five course lunch at Margan. We booked our Dining Experience online, experienced friendly service, and exceptional local food and wine. We’d recommend a wander through the kitchen garden and taking your time when exploring Broke and the Hunter Valley.

Margan is one of my favourite Hunter Valley wedding venues andI have photographed many weddings there. It is located in the beautiful town of Broke. Wedding ceremonies take place in the gardens next to the restaurant and overlook the vineyards and mountain range. The wedding reception takes place in the Barrel room with its exposed brick walls and warm lighting, which create an elegant and intimate atmosphere. And Margan is a working winery so there are plenty of vineyards which makes it perfect for wedding photos. If you have your wedding at Margan you can pretty much guarantee beautiful wedding photos. It is an awesome wedding venue.

I am a celebrant who loves working at Margan Wines.Well, buckle up folks because I’ve got a wedding venue that's more gorgeous than Ryan Gosling on a unicorn. Margan Wines is the bee's knees when it comes to stylish yet relaxed weddings for those who love good food, great wine, and friendly service.Their venue is so perfect it's almost too good to be true. I'm talking sweeping views of vineyards, olive groves, and even the Brokeback Mountain range (yeehaw!). And let's not forget about their award-winning wines.But here's the real standout for me: they farm sustainably because they care about the planet. Seriously, they grow all their produce in their own garden and orchard, and their kitchen has won a hat from the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide (which is like the Oscars of food, FYI). So if you get a chance to try their catering before booking, prepare to have your taste buds blown away.After the ceremony, you and your guests can kick back and relax on their lawn or in their charming courtyard, complete with soft lighting, a fountain, and landscaping so lush you'll feel like you're in a freaking fairy tale. Then, you'll head to their barrel room for the reception, which is basically like being inside a wine barrel wonderland full of fairy lights.Ceremonies at Margan Wines start from 4pm. This is wonderful when it’s hot so you can avoid sweating like a sinner in church. But I’d recommend doing a first-look so you don't waste any precious wedding day time. Trust me, you'll want to soak up every second at this dreamy venue.

Such a gorgeous venue and it’s been around since 1996 in Broke NSW, their wines are amazing, and the food is exceptional, all locally grown ingredients. I have eaten here many times in my duties as a wedding photographer and also a Hunter Valley traveller!
