I contacted this business via email in April of this year (2022). As I required a hole cut in a brick wall and a window installed. They were recommended to me by another glazing company. I wasn't contacted back for a few weeks (I note the building industry is busy), but I feel as though it was an accidental call as the woman thought she was speaking to another customer. The owner then turned up as he was in the area, to do a measure for a quote. We discussed process and timeline. He stated he would send me a quote, however the work wouldn't be able to go ahead until August or September, due to workload. Yep cool, I'll await the quote and go from there. They sent no quote, however it wasn't a concern as building prices are fluctuating and I thought once closer they would lock in a price. It get's to October and no contact. So I send an email earlier this week requesting an update. The owner emails me and tells me basically it's my fault because I didn't lock in the work or pay a deposit. However I received no correspondence or a quote. So I email back and decide to be amicable and request the quote. I have received nothing back and have been completely ignored. This company states on it's website it will update customers along the way. At no point has there been communication, any transparency and integrity is definitely lacking. I understand some businesses do not want to take on smaller job's due to the amount of work at the moment, however have the common courtesy and fortitude to tell potential customers you are not interested in the job. I've now spent five month's awaiting this company's time frame and they have completely ignored me. Unprofessional.
