Telstra Chadstone

I have a been with Telstra for 3 years. Never need to go to a store for any services, today I went to a Chadstone store just requested for a simple change on direct debit, front line staff advised definitely can assist at a store, but need to wait for 2 hours, will call when staff available.After 1 hour I got a call staff ready, so I drop back into the store, after try to work through nearly one hour, staff advised they can not do it at the store I need to ring up to change it.What a waste of time? should have been advised on the first place. not great customer service experience.

Came to the shop leave my name and number to one of the staff called zainav. Told me I have to wait for 3hrs. I was waiting for few hours and came back to the store, she told me they called me 45mins ago and I missed my appointment. Actually she was leave a wrong mobile number to her system and told me have to wait for another hour. She wasn’t checking whether my number was right or not, with very poor customer service and no any apologies try to fix the mistake.Very disappointed for the service here.

It’s well past 9am on a Wednesday. The website shows the store is open. The number to call the store however just takes you to voicemail via a circuitous set of menus and irrelevant information. Added to this I left a voicemail few days ago for someone to all me urgently, but of course, radio silence. Typical of Telstra service. Nothing has changed in this organisation-it’s just lipstick on a pig…Not sure why we previously left a positive review. Probably because we were encouraged to do so…

Went there, shana her name assisted and told me booked already and all. And then I came again to check if anyone just did no show and could any be anychance, while talking to other consultant she jumped in and mentioned him that I told her already don’t need to do, which is very disrespectful and rude. And when I was about to book appointment for next day they said you don’t need just come in . U joking. Then I was like let’s check reviews and guess what they don’t know how to serve people. U CAN DO BETTER CHADSTONE . Hire people with good sense of humour or one knows how to treat people. . Disappointing

Very bad customer service nothing to fix my issue,go to the shop ask about my issue have it they say know the problem about VPN issue then ask me to download app for 3 months free after need need to pay 10 dollar per month,are this we need to pay?????then I say will port out since your need more money to fix it since it not your customer issue the staff say Up To You very good answer to your few years customer

nearly all the customer comments seem to have one thing in common , not enough support staff resulting in very below par customer service and customer care factor, but the most disappointing thing is Telstra apologies seem to be plentiful on here, but the complaints just keep coming , for me seems nothing is being done to appease their loyal customer's complaints .

Yet another damning review of this store as staff are inflexible and only incapable of dealing with simple issues in an understanding manner. I came to return an item and was asked for physical ID (passport/Drivers licence). In no other instance of a retail return have I had to produce such documentation. The reason given was that to access my account which has personal details, they need to validate it is really me - what a load of hogwash. Every other retailer has personal details of mine and don't have such ludicrous protocols in place. If I can provide details of the business account - showing me logged into Telstra's own app and provide a PHOTO ID picture of my licence which clearly shows it is me, it is ludicrous to not accept processing a return. There was no advice given that you need to bring your physical passport /drivers licence to simply process a return. When I told the manager that I this was nonsensical and I would be leaving a google review, she could not care less. There was no attempt to agree to go away and review a nonsensical process, or commit to advising customers in future that that they should be told of a need to possess original documents while on the phone discussing the reason the customer is coming into store.There is no surprise that ratings for this store sit at 2.6. I run a business and if I had these ratings this low I'd either sack the staff or change processes or both. Wake up Telstra! There is no need for a reply to this with excuses or vacuous explanations, just fix your mess!

What a fundamentally flawed retail offer.I walked in at 1pm and knew exactly what wanted (a phone, outright, no plan or connections)Got told we aren't taking any more bookings for customers today."They are open until 9pm so they're going to tell everyone for the next 8 hours they can't buy anything.I asked again

Appalling customer service. I have attended the store twice to purchase and return hardware, and both times, they have been arrogant, rude, extremely uncaring and unwilling to help. For example, noting rudely that I needed an appointment to do a simple transaction and it was an up to three hour wait, with no time given. When I queried the customer service they then noted they would not see me as I had complained about their customer service. This was a means of getting out of providing a service, ie. lazy. I subsequently visited Glen Waverley store, and they were lovely and provided a prompt and excellent standard of service.

My partner and I went to upgrade our phones and had Raju and Nina assisting us. They were very patient, friendly and helpful with our complicated upgrade (business account).Thank you Raju and Nina for making the process easy and for going above and beyond to help us!
