Passion Nails & Beauty Marrickville

Been going to Passion Nails & Beauty Marrickville on and off for the past 2 years. Jenny is definitely the one you should visit for a good experience! She is the most all rounded beauty and nail technician there.Though they speak minimal English and mostly in Vietnam, they understand most basic stuff like which nail shape or design requests and will try to fulfill those requirements!They are not well versed in super complex nail art but definitely good at simple and minimal nail stuff! Some of the other new staff are less experienced but are stil nice and welcoming during non-peak hours of their business.

I've been going here since they have opened. Personally, I think they are fantastic to their clients. Price is affordable, they do great sns nails as well as pedicures (and normal manicures). The staff are gentle and always friendly.

First time customer. Came in for infills and a pedicure today around 3:30pm. The workers were on sitting in the booths on their phones, up until 4:30pm when they realised my infills hadn’t been done yet. Knowing that they closed at 5pm, the workers completely rushed the job and butchered my nails. I had one girl on my left and another to my right - how did they expect to have my nails turn out the same? Won’t be returning and don’t recommend anyone to go here. Obviously, going home is worth a lot more than their reputation/clientele.

I’ve been coming here the past two years and never had an issue. Today this really loud grumpy technician who I believe is named Tanya did my nails and made one of them bleed.I did this new thing she suggested where they just stick a plastic nail onto my natural nail. All is well until she filed my nails. One of them was obviously crooked and not straight at all. I kept telling her it’s not straight, so she kept filing but it just wasn’t doing it. When I asked her to redo it, she got mad and started yelling at me saying she did nothing wrong. I couldn’t be bothered to deal with it so I just said fine I’ll fix it elsewhere. Then she got even more annoyed, and just ripped the nail from my thumb which caused it to thin and bleed. I was so shocked as she messed up my nail really badly. (Also she literally said the glue is super strong and can’t be removed easily at the beginning) Thankfully another technician helped finish the manicure otherwise my hands will be copping her anger!If you do come here make sure you avoid this certain technician.

Went today with my 5 years old daughter to have her 1st manicure done.As soon as we get inside I ask if they do kids and they said yes.As soon as my daughter sat down the lady (I guess the younger owner) ask my little girl what colour she want and my daughter said pink but the lady asked again what number and ask again what colour raising her voice over and over gain and giving my daughter annoyed face.Told the lady she doesn’t have the right to raise my voice at my daughter but keep arguing she was just asking what colour.If they don’t want to serve kids because there patient is negative zero they could have told us and we will leave.I’m not the one who normally give negative review but I couldn’t let it pass.

Had my gel nail polish along with acrylic removed. I told the two ladies that my nails are sore, sensitive and asked them to please be gentle but they continued to hurt my nails. I then asked the older lady a question, and I didn't quite understand what she was saying, so I asked again and I got a very ugly and annoyed response back from the younger lady. Very unhappy about this as I really wanted to continue having my nails done by them. Will definitely not be returning as they are very unfriendly, unprofessional and has no proper way of communicating with clients.

This place is very efficient and the quality of my SNS is very good. Its been roughly 3 weeks and my SNS only began to chip. I came here the second time for acrylics, and again it was perfect! Similar pricing to other salons.The girls are very gentle and nice. This will be my regular place to go from now on.

First time visiting on a whim. Zero customer service, the ladies just grunted at me. The lady working on my nails hurt me a few times and didn’t apologise even when I was bleeding.Her coworker sat next to her while staring at me and took a phone call on loud speaker, directly in front of me which was very weird.The lady working on my nails coughed without covering her mouth many times. Lastly when I went to pay she was very sneaky with the eftpos machine, she said $25 and sort of hid the eftpos machine from me so I tapped and left. She charged me $35 for shellac buff and shape.Super uncomfortable experience.

Thought I had finally found a good local but my recent exp was laughable! My previous ones were ok.Picked a week day expecting person to be relaxed but a mistake.Think the better ones work on w/e.Grumpy person rushed the pedicure, was rough and cut my cuticle and made it bleed& then ignored it! The stone massage was so rough that it scalded my shins and failed to put any cream to soothe it. No eye to detail becos when I pointed out my the corners of my toes were left out, she bit my head off & blamed it on the shape of toes nails! Lol!Thats a first.Oh yes and carrying on phone conversations whilst on the job!!

A close friend visited this ‘nail salon’ today. 2 hours before their close time.. the service was rushed (because they were all on their phones prior to starting) and lacked attention to detail. Staff also aggressively voiced their opinions to the cashier in a different language assuming my friend wouldn’t understand (which she did) Wouldn’t recommend getting your nails done here considering they obviously value their own personal phone time over the service and product they ‘offer’.
