As a home owner my only option was litigation through NCAT after the builder failed to comply with a Fair Trading Rectification Order to rectify numerous defects.There are not many experienced lawyers out there who mainly specialises in construction law such as John. From our first brief conversation John asked the right questions, understood my situation and articulated the steps moving forward.In the days leading to the Tribunal Hearing the builder's solicitor unlawfully obstructed the NCAT process and the conclave between the expert witnesses. When the builder failed to comply with the Tribunal's orders we had to go back to the Tribunal and John's advice resulted in a maximum payout from the builder's insurer.
