Novocastrian Driver Training

I would recommend NDT to anyone looking to get driving lessons! I was initially a nervous driver but after lessons with Steve in 2019 I felt safe and confident on the road. I purchased another round of lessons in 2020 in preparation for my driving test and passed first go! Steve is an excellent instructor who is always calm and reassuring and booking was always straightforward.

I would definitely recommend NDT to anyone looking for driving lessons, before starting lessons last year I was an extremely anxious learner who hadn't driven for a whole year. Steve from NDT helped me to get over my anxieties and become more confident on the road, his professionalism and calm nature while teaching lessons was a great reassurance.Thanks to Steve and NDT I was able to pass the driving test on my first attempt.

I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking to past in one go! I had a very great experience with Steve (pretty sure he is the one who took me for a drive). I was under my overseas licence and needed to past in one go and Steve was the one who made that possible. He emphasised on all the important points to pass the test. He was very professional and easy to communicate with. He made me very confident and I booked for the test as soon as I completed just one lesson with him. I am truly grateful for finding Novocastrian Driver Training.

I took my time trying to get my licence, I struggled to find the motivation and time to learn how to drive until I started getting lessons with Steve.Steve has a professional, patient attitude towards instructing learners and will go through everything about driving safely on the roads. Steve is a very patient and kind driving instructor with up to date and well verbalised driving knowledge. Steve assisted me in understanding the safety requirements on the road as well as what is expected in the Ps test. It was such a great experience to get driving lessons from Steve. I've been put off from taking the driving test for a while because I got so anxious when I took the test before when I was staying in Sydney, which was taught by a different driving lesson company/instructor. After moving to Newcastle, I decided to give the driving lessons again a go. Steve has been very professional, patient, very easy to communicate with, and genuinely valued teaching road safety and lessons to his students to become great drivers.
