Called in casually, bought a steak and kidney & steak pie plus 2 coffees. Both pies nice flavour but predominantly gravy & gelatine, virtually no evident meat pieces. Pastry nice enough. 1 long mac topped up coffee occupied 70% of the cup but good flavour, flat white bitter. Really nothing special experience. Won't be back.

Pies aren’t nice at all , they’re also sloppy af fall apart so easily. Sausage rolls are awful too and don’t taste nice , the food actually made me feel sick not long after eating.

Dong and his hot daughter and happy wife are a treasure. This award winning bakery is an icon. You must go there, The pies are in the top 10 nationally and the awards show this.Again just enjoyed a perty in my mouth. Had an amazing plain meat pie, it was a perfect temp and so warm and filling on a cold winters day. Enjoy as they only last til 3pm and he sells out daily. From the bloke with the blueheeler therapy dog.

They used to do decent pies, now they charge $7.50 for dry hard pastry and jelly.

I just ordered a Pepper Steak pie.Never had anything like it.Was like a creamy junket type of filling with almost nothing solid in it. no no no.What was that.??8 dollars with sauce.Never eaten anything like it before and never again.Awful

Being a sorta big pie fan myself, I’ll travel to eat pies that have won awards. Any awards. The pepper pie here is just divine with crispy pastry, good size chunky meat, a nice medium pepper strength and served a temperature that doesn’t take the first layer of skin from the roof of your mouth. The sort of place you want to go back and get something warm from on a chilly day. Brrrr....feeling a bit chilly now actually.
