Nice store, had a good range. Wish they would price all their specials, asked at the counter and a $50 snorkel set was $20. Glad I asked!

Great products, but one member of staff needs to be kept away from customers.We purchased a portable fridge and 2 expensive chairs following discussing with the manager. Got it home and the 12v charger lead was missing and the lid was marked. I went back with the receipt and saw the manager. He was rushing out the store but told the young lady at the till to get me a 12v lead. He said if I removed the lid from mine and brought it back they would swap it out. The young lady then went to the back and unpacked a lead from another box. She then spoke to another male member of staff. Mid 30’s, bald head. Maybe the assistant manager?. He told her he had a lead which he got for me, telling her a to put the other one back. I then said that I would also be coming back with the damaged lid to swap it. He quite aggressively told me thats not the store policy and that he had not been told it had been agreed, would not be done, and that it would need to be sent off for repair. The young lady then confirmed what the manager had agreed. He then said, “ he only agreed that as he has had to rush off to a family emergency” I explained that it was new, had not been used and that we were going away for a few days (we returned yesterday). I said I was not going to be without it, having only brought it half hour before. He then, bloody rudely, told me thats not the policy, and then walked off muttering to himself.I left with the new lead but decided not to return to change the lid as he if spoke to me like that again it might get out of hand and I wasn't in the mood for a row or bust up. He had pi$$ed me off. I decided to keep the lid.I can see from other peoples reviews the policy of damaged goods having to go away for repair is normal policy for them. I could accept that if a product was a couple of months old, but not new, just out the box. I wont ever be using this store again. With the attitude of the guy who spoke to me as he did I’d rather go elsewhere. Their loss. Eventually maybe they will realise that with staff with an attitude like his, and the policy of refusing to swap new goods that are damaged, they are losings customer.

This 'one' star review is for that arrogant, rude, condescending, unprofessional and incredibly dismissive bald individual who pretends to be a pseudo staff member of Anaconda at Butler.We have no doubt in our minds, that after several visits to the Butler store, you can be rest assured, that most of these negative reviews are most likely due to this same bald in-store bully.Upon enquiring with those wonderful female staff members about their bald colleague, their best 'coping-mechanism' response about this dude was, And we have to work with him!" We guess that whilst they have to work every day with this bully

I went to Anaconda Butler to exchange my fridge for a smaller size due to not fitting in my tray. I was helped by Owen, he was extremely helpful and was a great shopping experience. Extremely friendly and helped me switch my fridge and cover quickly and easily. Highly recommend going to Anaconda Butler and asking for Owen if anyone needs anything.

Okay, I get it, store policy rules, but my two day old $150 Keen sandal/shoes, which were okay in the store, turned out to be dreadful walking 6 blocks in. With receipt and original box in hand I went back and asked if I could possibly exchange for a half size smaller and was turned away, but not before an offer to buy another set at the price I paid. As the shoes are quite uncomfortable I just dropped them on a display on the way out (good luck scroungers:DI really wish they could have offered me something other than sorry mate"

Not usually someone who leaves reviews but my husband asked me to write one up after receiving some exceptional service today from the bike manager at Anaconda Butler (he thinks his name was Jason). Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and an all-round nice guy, he went above and beyond to help fix up our daughter’s new bicycle, which was initially too tall for her. Our 13-year-old has always struggled to learn to ride a bike, but thanks to all of Jason’s help and the adjustments he made, she finally overcame that hurdle tonight! Thank you so much - you’ve made our girl’s Christmas really special :).

Visited the Butler store yesterday and a lady by the name of Renate helped us no end, her professional service was very high, together we found what we wanted at a great price. Well done!

I’ve never felt like a ghost before today!I don’t think you even have to work in any form of customer service to have felt like your custom wasn’t welcome.Whilst trying on and looking for various sizes of shoes, 3 seperate staff members walked past me ( 2 walked past twice on seperate occasions) without acknowledging my presence.Frustrated, I decided to leave. On the way through I walked past the front counter staff. Surprise surprise she ignored me as well.I could only laugh to my self.
