Got 2 of their large steamed buns ($3 each). They looked so attractive on the front steaming away. Not great for value. Its 70% dough! The most pastries were sold out or not on display so thats a good sign

I've always been curious about this little Chinese pastry shop with its display of mooncakes and other pastries. I've only tried the Huangqiao Sesame Crispy Cake (savoury) and the Crispy Taro cake and they didn't disappoint me. I'm not sure how authentic they are to the ones you can buy in Shanghai, but I found the flavours are good and the pastry was crispy.One day if I'm feeling a bit more adventurous, I'll go for a mooncake!
