Had 2 bikes in for services over the last month. Both of them have come back, serviced, cleaned and running the best in their lifetimes. Affordable, and the pick up / delivery in Port Stephens is a fantastic service. Can't recommend John highly enough.

Jon was able to repair and diagnose my rear brake problem on first inspection. I had previously taken my bike to 2 other well known motorcycle repair shops, one in Newcastle and one in Sydney and spent a lot $ with no solution. After 3 years with no rear brake and almost giving up, I took my bike into Base Motorcycles and was ecstatic when he fixed it. Very happy! I highly recommend

I am in absolute disbelief on what John has done to my bike and what he has cost me LH input shaft bearing has walked out because the bearing retainer has not been installed,The selector drum bearing also has started to walk because once again no bearing retainer has been installed.Has hit my crank shaft with a normal hammer and tried to grind it back smooth instead of using a copper hammer 0.5 hours total on ride time nikasil has came off the cylinder and piston has gone into the chrome…..and that’s only half of my issues I’ve had to deal with after spending $5000 easily at base motorcycles if only I could post here and show everyone the photos to see what this bloke has done and continuing to do because I am not the first person either that he has trashed there pride and joy the bike world is a very small community and it won’t be to long before he is out of business very very poor service sure he’s friendly and says he can’t tell you stuff as he follows the manual it is all a big front…..I have contacted John left messages etc to resolve this rather then give him a bad review but I feel as if I have been robbed……
