Meaney's Rest

Very comfortable place to stay. Everything you could possibly need, plus more. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 9 nights, using Meaneys Rest for our base to the Central Flinders Rangers. What a great stay, it's a home away from home. Kevin and Vicki made it so easy. All the extras made a difference, in the kitchen and the spa. After a long day walking the spa was a retreat. Local restaurants were great if you didn't want to cook. The Flinders Food Co was fantastic for breakfast and dinner. The walks and scenery are amazing.

Absolutely everything catered for...comfort, relsxation, ambience, free WiFi, Netflix, Google TV .... basic food-stocks well catered for and hospitality from the owners that is second to none! A great place to stay and make as home base whilst visiting the Ikara- Flinders Ranges or, a place to shrug off the dust before heading back to City life.

Stayed there second time around a couple of weeks ago. Clean, convenient, spacious with good amenities. Dog friendly was an added bonus. Owners were helpful and obliging. Will be back.

Delighted to find a house so well appointed. All you could possibly need is available. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated with period pieces that suit the heritage of the house.

We stayed 3 nights at this amazing accommodation making it our base to explore the Flinders Ranges and surrounding areas. The house was clean and comfortable and so relaxing to return to after a day of adventuring. Kevin and Vicki were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Loved it!

This is my second stay. This place has everything you need. It's a place away from home that feels like home. You can see that there has been no expense spared by owners, luxury towels, superb bedroom linen modern kitchen appliances and spa not to mention the emergency supplies supplied. Well worth the stay and very thoughtfully put together and dpotlessly clean. Owners have added that special touch to everything and it shows

My mum and I stayed 2 nights at Meaney's Rest in May 2018. All I can say is Kevin and Vicki are wonderful hosts ... and they are really dedicated to ensuring their guests have the best experience. The cottage is very attractive with a mix of heritage and modern living with a number of very thoughtful and original touches which give it it's own character, and make for a memorable visiting experience. It is very clean. Heating was very good. Vicki gave us a real welcome, and ensured we were just fine during our stay. Kevin gave us plenty of very helpful local info before and during our stay. Meaney's Rest is one of the very best places we have stayed, and we have stayed at scores of places in our travels. Thank you Kevin and Vicki!

Great place on the outskirts of the Flinders Ranges. Roomy accommodation and very clean.
