Great spot. Facilities were fantastic, really clean and organised. Bike park was awesome all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Already thinking of our next trip back. A real credit to the area.

The Steps Barrington Campground
6 of us went for a mountain bike and camping weekend and was pleasantly surprised with the facilities. Very well maintained flushable toilets and hot showers. Great large camping sites with dry firewood upon request. The mountain biking was fantastic being able to be picked up at reception of the camp grounds and driven up the entire mountain to cruise down 12 runs. The river was also fantastic to swim in. I found the 2 night stay to be really affordable with lots to do. Highly recommend and I will stay here again.

Fabulous, safe camping spot with easy access to the river for swimming. Great facilities that are well maintained. Close to towns if supplies needed. Nice areas for walks and drives nearby. Lovely owners too. Highly recommend.

Camped 2 nights with 3 young kids and another family. Fantastic camping location and great facilities. Bring swimmers and blow-up raft for the pools and rapids.Uplift MTB tracks are great for intermediate and above. Well built steep descents with tight tech sections and tons of switchback berms, table-tops, and occasional rock gardens. Heaps of flow on the blue and green too.Family friendly tracks around the camp ground for free.I would highly recommend the Steps Barrington for a family friendly getaway especially if you can squeeze in a ride day. Plenty to keep non-riders happy too.

Great place to stay in with MTB trails within the camp grounds or shuttle to much more challenging gravity tracks. Friendly staff and owner. Quick access to the river and steps rapids. Clean amenities. The only down side (and I'm just nit picking) is that I was expecting the purchased firewood from the camp would be more than what was supplied.But we would definitely be back with more friends with families. Thanks for a great weekend Brian and staff!

Been going here for almost 30 years, it keeps getting better. Great spot to hangout with your family & friends. This year we took 6 kids aged 12-15 river sledding which they loved. Lots of mountain biking options on the new trails. Best of all a beautiful stretch of river, water holes & rapids you can swim in, billion stars, simple things in life are the best.

Highly recommend! All zones offer great access to the river. We took our 4 and 6 year olds down the river on the hire gear and had a great time. Facilities are excellent and the bike pump track is a great time passer with the kids.

Absolutely loved our weekend at the steps. Family of 5 and the perfect place for a digital detox. The campsites are fantastic, the water is beautiful to swim in and the bonus of some mountain bike tracks. Will definitely be back.

The Steps Barrington Campground
We loved the quietness and wilderness here especially with no mobile reception. The kids had no devices and enjoyed nature and used there imaginations. We also took inflatables to float down the river. The amenities block look very new and are very clean and tidy. Water quality was very good. The showers were enjoyable and hot. The campzones are generous and enjoyed the space. We enjoyed being able to have a camp fire by night and cooking in it. We look forward to coming back

Great weekend away to The Steps at Barrington. Beautiful campsite and superb new amenities block. The river was warm, clean and we had so much fun going down the rapids on the river sleds we hired.Mountain Biking wise - the guys are all amazing. We loved Shaun - full of great tips. Trails were top notch - though super steep up the top!! Young kids were able to do the pump track and the green run from mid station - but overall, it is geared towards experienced riders.Will definitely be back soon!!!
