Banyak Suka Homestead

Banyak Suka Homestead was the host of our daughters wedding recently and we all had a fantastic time. The location was absolutely beautiful and Dean and Lyn were great to work with. We would not hesitate recommending the homestead for your next event or just some time away to relax.

I could not recommend Banyak Suka Homestead enough! From the second we pulled up Lynne and Dean were so friendly and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble and Lynne absolutely went above and beyond for us. She cooks a mean breakfast and even made us bacon sandwiches and coffee to go on our departure. The property is absolutely stunning, gorgeous grounds, beautifully renovated while still maintaining the old classic Queenslander charm. You can see the love and hard work that went into every little detail! You can tell they love hosting and looking after people, even going as far as asking my disabled mother what accessibility she would like to see at a place like theirs so they could implement those things in the future. (I want to add that they were amazing in making sure mum had what she needed and was comfortable!) That made my mum so happy because disabled people are rarely accommodated. You can tell they love and are passionate about what they do, such beautiful lovely people! They accommodated my dog so he was able to be there for our wedding and even helped look after him when my family and bridal party were busy getting ready. She was the first to offer to drive my bridesmaids to the venue when we realised we were a seat short. They really made us feel welcome and made our wedding day so much less stressful. Thank you both so much, you seriously deserve 10 stars!

Matt & I cannot thank Lynne & Dean enough for their hospitality over our wedding weekend. We had our bridal party staying with us which meant there was a few bodies to accommodate for and being as our wedding wasn’t on site it did mean we had visitors coming and going for the evening before and on the day of our wedding. They made us feel so welcome. Lynne was ever so helpful in assisting with any needs we had and even willing to assist when our cars were full and we needed a lift down to the venue. The location of the house is so beautiful with incredible scenic views of the glass house mountains. Each room provides a clean and opening feeling but remaining true to its original facade of an old Queenslander and made for the most beautiful photos which I can’t wait to get back from our photographer. Words cannot express how much we appreciated everything you did for us and we looked forward to our futures stays for anniversaries!

My daughter recently stayed there to get ready for her near by Wedding. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, even helping with the grooms hair and looking after my daughters dog at times. I am disabled and I was so looked after, nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommended. The house is beautiful.

My wife & I recently stayed at the Homestead. We love the place. Quiet & peaceful. The property & surrounding countryside is beautiful. Accommodation & breakfast first class. The owners Dean & Lynne are great people who could not do enough for us. Highly recommend staying.Don & Cynthia

I stayed here when I had my wedding just up the road, Lynne is amazing to deal with, honestly such a lovely place to stay, highly recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful getaway not too far from Brisbane but far enough that you feel like you're in a while new world
