I wish I could give a negative rating to this company but Google doesn’t have this option. I bought a townhouse built by this company in 2014 and the whole block of townhouses that were built by them have got serious roof leaking problems due to construction defects. The comonay denied all the responsibility despite the building inspection report clearly says ‘the box gutters and balcony waterproofing have not been installed in accordance to Australian standards and National construction code’. Each unit owner had to pay a significant amount of money to fix the problem while the townhouses are only 4 year old. This is just one example of the numerous problems that my house has.Please avoid this company!

They are very slow at finishing the construction and its impossible to get them to complete defects. I notified them by email numerous times regarding defects during construction and they did nothing. When it came time to fix the defects they claim they are within acceptable tolerance". They simply refuse to inspect works at completion let alone fix defects. Even Consumer Affairs had no luck with them. Beware.....steer clear of this mob."

Absolute cowboys. Avoid at all costs.

Xtraordinary Constructions have time and time again, proven to be one of the biggest hackers in the building industry and should rename their business to 'Very Ordinary' Constructions. This company is totally incompetent at construction, project management and administration (basically everything). As a previous contractor, whom previously undertook work for these backyarders, the quality of their building work is woeful, to put it kindly. Cheap and not cheerful. I wouldn't live in one of their builds let alone buy one! Very Ordinary Constructions also do not like paying their bills and have a history of cash flow problems. I must stress profusely that contractors and prospective clients steer well clear of these shonky builders. The large number of poor reviews paint a good picture, and any good reviews on this page are fake and are generated by the owners of this company. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

We are going through the process of practical completion of our town house in Hamilton Hill built by Xtraordinary Constructions. We bought one of the high end versions with city and sea views and extra features. We expected to get a quality product given the location and the time it took for completion.We are sad to say that we are very disappointed with the quality of the workmanship. It is hard to believe that qualified tradespersons were employed for this job.Not only that, the builder- Xtraordinary Constructions have tried to pull the wool over our eyes and are refusing to fix the simplest of things, leave alone major defects that they will not acknowledge.Beware before you sign in for anything with Iron Fish and Xtraordinary Constructions. Unfortunately, they are quite ordinary!!

NOT IMPRESSED !! CHEAP BUILDER IN A PREMIUM SPACE !!We have completed building a property with xtraordinary about 6 months ago now, which was a unit for our daughter. Had no choice of builder as it was part of a house & land package. Highly regrettable experience for us. Quality of work and finish is very cheap, many items already broken and any attempts to get things fixed went in vein. The manager, she is very self-centric, always pointing at someone or something else to blame but them. We strongly recommend for anyone to think twice choosing this builder.

Tony and the team were so helpful during every process of our build. We came to them with a challenging shaped block and they, unlike other builders, wanted to help us make the most of our block whilst still working within our budget. Top quality finishes and an easy, speedy build, and would happily keep on building houses with them.
