Yame Nails

I tried Yame for the first time today. They were busy but friendly, I had nail infill & gel toes, best job I’ve had anywhere in ages. They listened to what I was looking for, and the end result was exactly what I was after, great results. And they cared if I was happy with the job or not. I’ve been going to another nail salon in Nerang for 4-5 years. Despite my loyalty for so long, the job was often bad, prices were high & they were often rude. Yame could not be more different! Several others in the salon at the time were regulars and clearly very happy repeat customers - so amazing to see. Will be going here from now on for sure!

Been here twice now and honestly the best sets I've had done. They are durable but still thin. Haven't experienced lifting or chipping. Really well priced and nice service

Really rude service. I waited an hour to be seen. I got a fresh set of acrylics and when she put the tips on I asked to change the shape. I was advised by her that she would do “it later”. After she had put the acrylic on I again asked her to change the shape and I was scolded as she had put the acrylic on. I didn’t expect someone to be so rude to me after I’d already asked for a different shape prior to the acrylic. To top it off, my nails are crooked. I’d rather cut my fingers off than go back there again

Called ahead for quote, person on phone checked with someone else, confirmed I wanted pink gel and French tip painted on, quoted $55. Got there and was told that price was actually $80 for what I asked for. Said ok thanks anyway and went to leave n was told rudely ‘NO JUST SIT’. Tried to bully me into doing some on thing I didn’t want or pay the $80 for what I did want. Also was told that communication on the phone is bad and can only get quote in the store. Cancelled my other appt for them n now have no nails. Untrustworthy and need to have proper English or DO NOT give quotes over phone then say not to trust quotes over the phone… dodgy salon.I went to this salon again today without realising it was the same one and was going to give a 5 star review. I didn’t get the same service (pink gel ect n opted for just painted pink n French tip). Had a 100% different experience! They did a great job and the lady doing my nails was a perfectionist!! Did a amazing job, quick, thorough and was $65 for the service I got today (again.. different hence different price). Obviously things have changed at this salon and I was very happy with what I got today!! Obviously they have listened to reviews and upped their game. Very pleased! Thank you x

I have my favourite nail tech there (which is hard to find), so I book in and you would think having a booking would help, but nope I've booked twice now and had to wait an hour the 1st time and 30min the next time.My nails are great though.

I love the work they do on my nails each month! The first few times I went here however they were very slow. Once they finished my cousins nails an hour before they started mine which wasn't fun, but I think they started to recognise me each time I went and I've been served quicker. I think it just depends on the day as they are quite popular. They do very good job on my nails though and that is why I keep going back.
