Kensington Gardens Bowling & Tennis Club | Lawn Bowls & Tennis | Facilities Hire | Welcome to the Kensington Gardens Bowling and Tennis Club, home to one of SA's best Lawn Bowls and Lawn Tennis facilities. The club has a stunning setting, nestled amongst the gum trees of Kensington Gardens Reserve, with views across multiple playing fields. Along with the beautiful location, we have state of the art synthetic bowling greens and lawn tennis courts, all with night lighting. They are playable year round and are a benchmark for quality, regularly hosting state and national tournaments. The facility is home to Kensington Marryatville Bowling Club and Kensington Gardens Lawn Tennis Club. People of all ages and abilities are welcome to join as social or competition members.

Kensington Gardens Bowling & Tennis Club
One of the few large format venues available to hire for private functions. A decade ago we hosted 110, and this time a reduced number affected by COVID restrictions. With outlooks over the greens and playing fields, the space inside is open and the fitout a bit old school refectory style. A dance floor on the side, a built-in PA system, a fully equipped chef's kitchen and licenced bar complete the facilities.The club provided volunteers to manage the COVID compliance and coached and cajoled us onto the greens for twilight bowls. It turned out to be great fun and very sociable. Judging by the many happy faces of all ages at our event, the clubrooms and club officials have a successful formula.

Friendly club and a nice setup. Would rate it 5 stars but carpet is not for me I prefer the real grass.
