The Studio - The Gordon

Excellent place to get a haircut if you have the time to spare, as it naturally takes longer than it would at a regular salon. However, what you’ll get in return is someone who listens to precisely what you want done and they take the time and effort to achieve that. I’ve had far superior haircuts here than I have by so called professionals who don’t listen to the most basic of requests. Highly recommend giving the studio and one of their trusted students a try for your next haircut, blow wave or treatment.The ONLY drawback to coming here is that they are closed over the school holidays, and making an appointment can sometimes be a bit hit and miss, as on two occasions I tried, there was no one on reception… which means the calls go unanswered. They also close for a lunch break, deservedly so, but this isn’t advertised anywhere in their opening hours.

Thank you to Ben the Barbering Teacher from the Gordon and his wonderful students for attending the MatchWorks office recently and providing free haircuts to some of our participants. We found that Ben and his students were very professional and made all our participants very comfortable, and everyone left the office with a huge smile on their faces. We here at MatchWorks would highly recommend utilising the services of the Gordon and we look forward to when they will be coming back again.
