Stay well-away from this builder. I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them and each time I tried to sign a contract they put the price up. The last time they reduced the size of the property and put the price up over 20000 dollars! Then when I finally said I couldn't go ahead they refused to refund my 5500 good will deposit - and that's on top of thousands I paid them for geotech, contour survey. plans etc then out of spite they refuse to even let me have the plans that were my idea claiming copywrite. I'll be going to consumer affairs but I strongly suggest potential clients think again unless they want to risk a lot of heartache, ask around town about them. I wish had. As a follow up to the builders comment below. They put the price up over 20 thousand dollars AND dropped the size of the house AFTER I sent a good will deposit of 5500, then they refused to refund it after I said I couldn't afford to go ahead. This is APART from me paying for other costs. Then they wouldn't even release the plans to me claiming copywrite. I have lodged a complaint with consumer affairs, don't believe the Genuine apology" if they were a decent company they would refund the deposit and have released the plans. Now I am months behind and have to go through the hassle of consumer affairs to get my deposit back."

Worst mistake I ever made was building with Coolwater Construction. They did not deliver us a home in our budget or in a reasonable time frame . Coolwater Construction (mainly David) made the process of building our first home terribly hard and stressful .I have been dealing with this company since February 2015 & unfortunately I'm still trying get our home finished.If anyone is contemplating building with this company I would be more than happy to be honest with you and share our experiences and show you our home.P. S I would have given 1/4 of a star if possible
