Dave Whalley is a highly qualified Goalkeeper coach. He has a great technical understanding of what makes an effective Goalkeeper and is able to prepare the GK's for all match day situations.He is able to get the best out of both younger and older players, by providing an environment that is fun and engaging. He demands high standards and yet is empathetic to the dynamic space younger players and teenagers are in.He shows great adaptability working with both girls and boys.However what stands out to me though, having know Dave and worked closely with him for many years is the fact that he is a genuine good bloke who cares deeply for not only the players development but more importantly how they are developing as people.Many players in both community and elite football continue to reach out to Dave for advice and support, long after they have either worked with him or have moved elsewhere. A true gentleman.

I have been going to Dave Whalley for 4 years. I still come away from sessions learning something new. Dave gives solid advice and guidance to his keepers. He has been instrumental in my progress. All round Dave is a legend. 100% would recommend Dave.

I have worked with Dave for 6 years and the amount I have improved is amazing I went from an 11-year-old that could only just catch or kick a ball to a 17-year-old that has just made her first international cap for the junior Matildas. Dave Whalley is a very talented and committed goalkeeping coach that always brings his experience and professionalism to the pitch.
