Park Hotel Motel

Great food at the moment, they make the food with passion, that's why it's a good place for a countery/pub meal. Bar area is a bit average, could do with an upgrade.......

Lady at the desk was nice enough. Disappointed that I messaged them after I’d left, since I had poor reception on the road for a call, to see if my ring was found. I got a seen on the first message but no response. A simple ‘no’ would have sufficed but to just be ignored is annoying. Especially since the ring, while old was of sentimental value

Great for the value. Decent amenities. Great service. Its a budget motel. So dont expect luxury.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and linens appearing to be fresh. The bed was luxiuriously soft and very comfy. Go outside on the porch and you might be as lucky as us and find somebody's leftover beer and coffees. There was also somebody's notepad on the desk to flick through as bonus entertainment.The hallways and stairs are a bit funky. 10/10 would not eat my dinner off it or do yoga poses on it even in a hazmat suit. The pool outside was nice, it was very relaxing after a long day. The bats screaming their lungs off in the distance really added to the relaxing atmosphere.The food was ok... seafood is usually a hit or miss and i should have known that inland seafood would be terrible and this was no different. The salad looked like Edward scissorhands had chopped it up in his sleep. But it was actually really tasty. The chips i ordered were actually cooked really well so i most certainly recommend them as well.I will also like to add that the floor is a bit uneven in areas where somebody started ripping out bricks and quit half way so you don't want to go wondering about the place with no torch at night. The place really needs to finish its reno, and hide the cleaning products elsewhere. Its a bit weird leaving furniture strewn everywhere...

Have been making this motel my main place to stay when I am sent to Charters Towers. Prices are good, beds are nice, TV is large for a motel and there is a daily cleaning and change of toiletries etc which is great. It is a bit tired and older but so far best I have found for the price in CT.

Brads customer service was excellent and very welcoming. Rooms are very average furnished with old furniture and curtains need a wash (bathroom lace curtains brown with dust). Although old and well worn rooms they were clean. If you like a very soft bed, recommend.

Room was great, bed good, best TV we had all trip. Cockroach in bathroom, spider web in hanging space, carpet needs replacing. Great check in
