Came here directly after Mt Wellington. Because it's not as high, there is less cloud interference, so the views are better (unless you have a perfectly clear day on Mt Wellington).Definitely worth the drive and views.

Took the city bus up there and back to town. Several walking trails in the area. Great views!!

Steep climb to get here via the Truganini track but very rewarding at the Mount Nelson lookout. Saw plenty of Wildlife and even an echidna.

Great spot, free parking and the adjacent cafe has plenty of seating in and out of the cold. Views of the Hobart valley are fantastic.Try the hot chocolate from the cafe it is worth the wait.

A really beautiful spot that can be reached in less than an hour from Sandy bay, but can also be turned into a longer fun hike. The cafe is a really cute place as well! Coffee by the windows makes it a memorable experience.

Breathtaking scenic spot. Short and easy drive to the top. Plenty of parking space. There is a cafe as well. The view from the top is very nice. There is a small museum as well.

Great views over Hobart and the area, all the way out to Port Arthur down to Bruny Island. The station is informative, but the cafe took the prize.
