We were listed with them as interested buyers, but didn't end up buying through them so don't really know their service at all. Despite that.. have just received an email from them asking me and I assume all the other people who have posted positive reviews for them in the last 2 hours or so to go onto google to post a review to improve their score. All the people who post a review go into a drawer to win a pack with wine, cheese, umbrella, stubby cooler and MUCH MORE!! (I hope I win!!!) I am giving them 1 star for their ethics and values.

I haven't rented for a very long time but IEA Group made it easy. Inspection times were arranged well, agents were always on time and pleasant to deal with. Any issues are dealt with promptly. Would recommend.

Although IEA has only recently started looking after the property I lease after taking over from Ray White my experience with them to date has been a pleasure. The people I have dealt with are very pleasant and always happy to help.

We sold our house through Illawarra Estate Agents and we couldn't be happier. Their professionalism is outstanding. They were all ways available to answer any questions we had and always kept us up to date with the progress. They even helped us with our questions on a house we were purchasing through another agent. Their knowledge and assistance was above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. The whole team is professional and friendly. If you need to buy, sell or rent I wouldn't go past IEA we will without a doubt be advising everyone to go through them. I will never sell a house without IEA on the job.

Illawarra Estate Agents have managed my investment property for nearly 6 years.I could not ask for a more professional management group than IEA.Excellent tenants have always been promptly found, the rent has always been up to date and their regular inspections have ensured that my property is always in first class condition.

We had sent out application for a rental property over a month ago as soon as it was available and I have called several times to speak with the property agent about the property. I have left messages and told I would receive a call back. I never received a call back. On the most recent phone call, I asked if they received our application and a staff member stated she couldn’t find it on the database and will follow up with the property agent. We didn’t receive a follow up. I called again as I had missed the first open home due to being unwell and was advised there was a second booking on the following week as the property had time to be leased. I received a text message 1.5 hours before the open home advising it was cancelled and the home was leased. I contacted Megan directly advising her I was half way to the open home as I needed to travel over an hour distance to get there. She responded with “this happens, are you interested in another property?”I advised her it was late notice and asked why there was a second open home if the property was intended to lease and received silence. I expressed that I wouldn’t be continuing with the agency due to the inconvenience as this is a huge reflection on future applications. Megan responded with an arrogant and firm tone, “good luck in your search.” Understandable that the market is busy for rental, however, I didn’t appreciate the unprofessional response. Wouldn’t recommend to those who are expecting effective and timely communication.

I rented an apartment through this realestate for 3 months in wollongong CBD. It was one of the worst rental situations I've ever encountered. Cockeroach infested, poorly maintained, disgusting property.

3 years after moving into a filthy apartment that included old drug paraphernalia in the cupboards, we organised an end of lease clean through a contractor. IEA were in contact to tell us they weren't happy with the job so the contractor reattended at the agency's request but for some unclear reason, the agents refused them access on the day.They went on to charge us a cleaning fee but have refused outright to provide any invoice, photos or evidence of the costs and works required.Super dodgy, unprofessional outfit.

When I was offered a rental property through another agent , I rang IEA to ask about any updates or outcomes of the property I had applied for with them as I was more interested in this rental.I rang the office 4 times to be told EVERYTIME someone would call me back, this never happened . Even a simple “we havnt made a decision” would of been enough, but I was left with the impression that there was a chance.The girls I met during the inspections were really lovely and extremely approachable, but the extreme lack of communication makes me feel we may have dodged a bullet.
