Parramatta station is always busy with commuters travelling in and out all the time.Parramatta square is located right next to it but if you are too busy hopping in and out trains and buses, you might miss out this beautiful area easily.A few steps away from where we get out of trains, there are some nice eating places waiting around the corner. Clean, tidy, sleek, modern shops.Sky scrapers are being built just to add more businesses to this flourishing area.

The old and boring Darcy road side of the station (other side of the Westfield) got replaced by new impressive skyscrapers.The old library used to be here until 2015.Few other shops, and a carpark and this side of Parramatta was lonely and deserted.Great utilisation and transformation of that space. Well done.*****What I loved about the Square were 2 things1. The Story Box2. Lot of seats, plants and on one of the edges of a rock were written minutely Burramatta" - Finally acknowledging the past.Burramatta has some heritage valued buildings

My four year old daughter and I just got 'moved on' by a security guard while we were sheltering from extreme winds behind a glass wall.I fully understand we were within the restaurant's trading area but it was shut, and we were clearly most of the way through our very small cup of gelato. Poor form.Apparently, only designated areas of P.S. are for sitting in, but there aren't really any spaces protected from the gales that can be generated by all the priapic sheet glass that's gone up recently.
