Well that was a bit disappointing. High expectations but not met. We had prawns from Woolworths last night and they were much fresher and tastier. These tasted like frozen, thawed and refrozen. Morton bay bugs were delicious. Lobster again full of water and little taste. Sorry guys if that’s what you serve up, we won’t be back. $179 just not good enough.

Amendent update: In the time since the original post, Manuel the owner was since contacted me, apologised for the original platter, refunded me its cost, and provided compensation this morning with an upgraded platter delivered personally to my door. The new platter looks lovely, fresh and my family shall enjoy it this evening over fireworks shows. Since the problem has been completely resolved, I am changing my star rating to rectify the lengths Planet Seafood have gone to to compensate. A photo of the new platter is provided.Original post: This is what I received for my 'Deluxe' Christmas order for 2021. The promised platter, versus what arrived, is vastly different as you can see. Smoked salmon missing, lemon wedges missing, king prawns substituted for ordinary prawns, tiny Moreton Bay bugs, hardly any 'caviar' and presentation was a joke. In addition to this, their online purchading system does not work properly, so I had to resort to driving 45 minutes into the shop to pay in cash. Luckily I kept my hand-written receipt. Are not returning calls about this issue despite messages being left. The platters are apparently made up by a third party but Planet Seafood put their stickers all over it, and it is their responsibility to ensure a product with their brand attached is actually good.

Selfish seafood platter was DELICIOUS! Oysters were so fresh. We thought the Morton bay bugs were the best until we had the lobster, it was even better. Get a jar of crustacean dressing to go with it. It really hit the spot.

So disappointed. Whether it's the courier you employ or yourselves we have no seafood. I ordered 2 weeks before Xmas to arrive before 11am.. it arrives at 4 pm and the courier LEAVES IT IN THE SUN!! He could have walked 2 more steps in the shade but now it's ruined. $100 for a tiny seafood platter anyways was overpriced, but now it's ruined. At least I know to avoid in the future and I will tell everyone to avoid.

My parents were overjoyed to receive the high roller platter and declared it to be the best tasting and freshest seafood they’ve ever had.Great service also with thanks to Theo who helped me with having it delivered to Lang Lang, despite being outside the delivery zone. Much appreciated.Ordering another for a friends 40th gift next week!Highly recommend.

I order from Planet Seafood once a week - delivery, freshness and quality is perfect every time. So glad this is in Bayside and on Uber Eats - saves 20+ min drives to markets on weekends closer to the city. Love the convenience!!

Planet Seafood have some really good quality Seafood and the prices are really good, the staff are very helpful and friendly, I would definitely recommend Planet Seafood.
