Can't speak highly enough of this hairdresser! All the staff are the loveliest girls and they were fantastic the way they looked after my hair as it regrew after chemotherapy. I have never been happier with my hair shape and colour and regularly receive compliments. Salon is clean and well kept. After moving from hairdresser to hairdresser for years, this is the place I'll stay with.

I have the most amazing haircut thanks to my hairdresser at Barrard. The whole experience is always fantastic, from making the appointment on line, to the blissful hair wash and head massage, to the cut and blow dry. I have been going there for years and I’ve never had a bad haircut. I would never go anywhere else and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I’ve come a few times for a haircut now, everyone is so friendly and professional. Jana does an amazing job every time and is super accommodating. Keep up the great work!

I just experienced the worst customer service I've ever faced at Barrard Hair. I've been there three previous times and always went to the same hairdresser. For my appointment today, I hired a babysitter and walked the 15 minutes it takes to get to the salon. I asked for my usual hairdresser and was told she was running 15 minutes late. 20 minutes later, another woman told me to go ahead and have a seat. I assumed she was getting me started until my hairdresser was done but was instead informed, only at that very moment, that my hairdresser had left. They both said that she mentioned she had called me which is absolutely not the case. The worst part about it was I wasn't told immediately, only after 20 minutes of waiting and having to specifically ask where she was. Now, I'm out $100 for a babysitter and an hour of my life that was wasted. Please don't give them any business.

I have been going to Barrard Hair for over 10 years and I always have an amazing experience. Natalie is my main stylist and she is fantastic but I I have also seen some of the other staff and they always do an excellent job with my colour and cut, for a very reasonable price. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the salon is always clean. I would highly recommend this salon!

For my first cut at Barrard Hair, my experience was great. My hairdresser was so welcoming and friendly, my usual anxiety and dread when going to get my hair cut was non-existent with her. She made me feel very comfortable and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it!! Will definitely be going back!

First time visiting Barard and was really pleased with the result. I had Natalie looking after my colour and cut and she really listened and understood what I wanted!I'm a new mum and I felt very relaxed especially with the lovely scalp massage at the basin for my complementary treatment as a new client!Would definitely recommend this place for your next salon experience.

I’m sorry to write a bad review but I was not happy with my hair nor with the outcome of the fix attempt. I paid $163 to get my hair done while on holiday in NSW. I asked for golden blonde which essentially meant just doing the regrowth but they toned it all and it was ash blonde. I said I didn’t like it at all but everyone said it was lovely. I won’t disagree that she had done a good job but personally I really didn’t like it on me. I was mortified. They said I could come back tomorrow for an easy fix if I still didn’t like it. So I did (an incredibly hard feat on a holiday with a newborn). They toned it again and it went a medium caramel colour. They said that was all they could do. I said I wasn’t happy but they said there was nothing else they could do.I ended up getting it redone the next day and paying for it all over again at a differnt place. The hairdresser who fixed it gave me golden blonde, exactly what I had asked for.I’m pretty disappointed with the lack of care the ladies had with my disappointment. They didn’t seem to care how special it was for me to get my hair done and how upset I was with the outcome. No refund was offered.I’d like to say I have heard others have had great experiences here. I had one lovely lady cut my hair here a year ago and this time they did kindly fit me in on short notice. But this time I was really upset with the outcome.

Barrard was amazing! Easy online booking to find a time that suits you and same hairdresser does the shampoo, cut and dry. Reasonable price and no one bullying you to buy a $30 bottle of shampoo! Will be going back!

I needed a new hairdresser so I tried them out and they were perfect. It was 4days before my wedding day and they gave me beautiful natural blonde foils and the most even, natural spray tan. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Very relaxed feel and beautiful salon with a skylight in the basin area. Nice cappuccinos too. I will definitely be going back there again, very happy with the results!
