Great atmosphere for breaky, brunch or that long boozy lunch. Delicious menu choices. Nice point of difference for Yeppoon. Even more impressed by the new night time options.Well done

Good food but I think the prices are just a little high, at least for the items we choose, and they could benefit from being a bit more descriptive in the menu in terms of if a roll/wrap is hot or cold. The pearls in the bubble tea we had were sweet and delicious but the Taro flavour was so light that it almost tasted like water. Staff were polite. No prices listed on their pastries, just nice to know what something costs before you buy it.

We had a fantastic Monday night dinner at Alfie’s. The restaurant has personality and a great vibe, service was fast and the food was incredible. The portions were larger than expected so we somewhat over ordered but it was so delicious we didn’t regret it. Great value and highly recommend!

Lovely food and atmosphere, only annoying thing were the loud birds haha, but other than that its wonderful. Staff is wonderful and the seating/ordering process is that executed beautifully. Is quite expensive but I suppose you’re paying for the atmosphere and beach side setting so it’s worth it.

Great idea for a spot in Yeppoon to have a bakery / cafe like this. The menu has the usual breakfast/brunch options and some tasty sandwiches as well.Unfortunately we were a bit let down with some of the dishes served up here. First off - the chips that were described as having “cheetos” salt were $9 and came on a small plate. I get cost of goods and needing to make a profit but this felt like it was pretty expensive to me - there wouldn’t have been more than 20 chips on the plate and there was no cheetos salt which was the reason we ordered them in the first place. The sandwiches were ok - the Italian hoagie we got was described as coming with peppers. I’m not sure if the definition of peppers up here however we received a slightly pickled capsicum vs what I would call peppers. It would have been nice having something slightly acidic to balance the meatiness of the dish out (like guindilla peppers for example). The bacon on the BLT was epic. Super salty and cooked to a nice crisp. I would say though the. Read holding the BLT was comedically large and not something you could eat easily. We were super keen to try the bottomless filter coffee but this wasn’t ready (at 11am) and we were told it would take 15-30 minutes for it to be ready. The waiters and cashiers here were lovely and the atmosphere was breezy.I’m definitely keen to come back and try but there a few things that need improving before giving out 5 stars.

The service was not bad considering how busy it was. We were warned with the waiting time for food but they came out sooner than expected. Sandwiches were rushed but favorites were alright. The beef & pickle toastie was good. Nice coffee. The Banoffee scroll was definitely the highlight.

Atmosphere was amazing and beautiful and staff were welcoming and nice. They give you a complementary bowl of popcorn too.The item i got was the korean fried chicken ribs and it was nice and was spicy to my liking. I think the serving size could have been a bit more however considering the price.A beautiful place to eat overall by the beachside and would recommend for a night out here.

The food looks beautiful, but it lacks any flavour. Typical Instagram food.I highly recommend avoiding the chicken sandwich, which is $19 for whitebread, chicken and mayo.

Alfie’s Chow Down was a complete disappointment. After much excitement hearing about the fantastic rice boi- mooloolaba concept model we couldn’t wait to go. What a letdown. After being shoved into a corner that was hardly enough room for a share plate menu in an empty restaurant, we asked to move to the unlimited options of endless seats. Our waitress was lovely and said no problem. After moving to a much larger and better suited table to accommodate our large share order, we were immediately confronted and harassed by the manager, accusing us of falsely and unjustifiably moving tables. Note at this time the restaurant was 97% empty. After explaining that we had asked permission to move to another table he aggressively proceeded to raise his voice and belittle the staff demanding an answer from us of who the culprit was that rearranged the table assignments. He proceeded to suggest we might need to move again after he figured out what he was going to do portraying our inconvenience as he was expecting to be fully booked. Please note this was at 445pm and the place had more staff then diners. As we had already invested $110+ on the food we unfortunately had to hear the manager yell at all the staff looking for the culprit who dare allow us to move in the empty restaurant. When our drinks and food came out, the basil was rotten, the slow cooked redang beef was tough and the char sui pork looked like it came out of the petrol station fridge. Between bites we were interrupted 3 times with excessive reminders that we had to be out by 6. Note it was still 96% unoccupied at that stage. As someone who enjoys stimulating the economy by supporting local business and who works in the customer service industry, this service is an utter embarrassment to Alfie’s and a disappointment to our community.Maybe one day, Alfie’s will see the importance of customer service and deliver quality food to ensure customer retention and drive their business. Today was not that day.
