Great place to participate in a medical trial.They explain to you clearly the risk, policies in modern installations where do you feels safe.

First time staying at Scientia (and doing a clinical trial) and the experience was great! The whole team (nurses, doctors, cleaners, coordinators, assistants, reception) were all professional and very kind. Admin was also well-organised and answered any questions I had. I did join up very last minute but the process still went quite smoothly. Screening day was 1.5 - 2 hours and easy access via public transport (light rail). If you're looking for meaningful temp work or visiting, especially while studying, this is a pretty good deal. Also, if you have previously had mental health conditions, still apply! The staff were very non-judgmental and respectful about my medical history, and it also didn't disqualify me for the study (depends on the study tho).During the study, everything ran on time and this made it a lot easier for eating meals after fasting and online meetings. They do check bags so make sure it's easy to unpack. I really enjoyed the food, much better than I cook, and the blankets were nice and warm! Met some awesome people and heard good stories. The wifi and quiet room was great for work/study, and the dining/rec room was nice for socialising, you do also get your own area with curtains. I'll definitely spread the word and thank you Scientia for the awesome service, will come back for sure

Shout out to all the nurses that made giving blood way more fun than i thought it would be! I'll miss you guys stabbing my arm and see y'all next time!10/10 would recommend (unless you don't like needles or stickers on your body that'll give you a free waxing)@the nurses you guys are amazing

Honestly if you’re a backpacker it’s the best way to earn some cash with 0 brain cells. You do have to take it seriously tho no drugs or drink in your system and there is a chance you could be turned away due to things out of your control, a few people got turned away from a 14 day trial I did for natural body fluctuations obviously this can be very irritating so take this into account that it could happen. The 14 days was easy tho really easy, made some good friends, the nurses are some of them nicest people you could meet. The food is questionable however all microwaved meals and about the healthiest I’ve ever eaten in my whole life.. definitely a detox. Never found somthing that could pay so well for such easy ‘work’.

Totally avoid this place. They made me lose my time and money twice.First time, went for a screening and the trial got cancelled few days later as it was too risky.Second one, went for a screening, stayed there TWO hours to work out the schedules and as the nurse was struggling taking my blood (she tried 5 times). They never called me back ... ever...I Called them back twice before the start of the study andthe day before the study they were still working hard with the doctor to get my result back from the lab" but never heard back from them. When I already took days off from work as the study was the next day.Avoid this place

ive done 3 studies in the past with scientia no issues all completed. Ive recently tried applying for different studies they are actively recruiting for and getting absolutely nowhere. They are telling me my details are no longer registered and unable to tell me how to register with them. Ive spoken to 3 different people on their phone number all of which have been useless in helping me and just keep telling me to put my details on the apply now button on the website. Ive done this 3 different times and keep telling me someone will call me and never happens. If they cant run the admin side of the business efficiently id be concerned on the overall running of the business.

I’ve been to some others clinical trials around Australia and definitely Scientia is the best! The staff is amazing!!! Both Sarah’s, Hannah and Sandra have my heart! My dream is to live there and do a clinical trial every two weeks!
