From being a great local dinner venue it’s very disappointing since previous owners left. Steak was requested as medium/rare and came out WELL done. Salmon was the size of 2 fingers and plate looked like an entree not a main. With the prices on the menu they need to lift their game not to ruin the previous great reviews

Average food, penne had no taste and was so creamy and filling. Where’s the cherry tomatoes to give it some freshness?? Listed on the menu but I only found one small piece. Food is expensive too.

Updated:January 2021Blake St Kitchen offers a discount for food and beverages if you become a member ($3). They also added special deals to attract more members, e.g. Thursday steak, pizza night, Sunday kids eat for free, etc.March 2020The Blake Street Kitchen has just recently opened in Kogarah a few months before the pandemic hit the globe. I like contemporary decor and leafy plants in the cafe. The customer service is great and music is spot on.Since I've come back here many times for breakfast and dinner, I have a few feedbacks. First, I'm not a big fan of The Grounds Roastery (TGR), as their coffee beans lacking in robust flavours. The food is hit-and-miss. Portions are generous. Good ones so far are breakfast burger, giant beef pie, simple brunch options, and any fried items (chicken schnitzel, fish & chips) and the quinoa salad.Fusion/ special item such as Thai fish curry was below the average. Did not worth the price. The caesar salad had chopped up sandwich instead of real croutons. The pasta was alright.

Good casual meal. I had the chicken bosciola which was nice and creamy.I liked the decor and comfort. The staff was friendly and attentive. The staff at the bar was approachable. It's located in the Kogarah club, so you may need membership to enter. They have parking underground, entry on Blake St. There's also Street angle parking.

Most pour through the doors of Kogarah Clubhouse to snatch a spot at the popular Chinese restaurant. But on the off chance that you glance over to the opposite side, there's a gust of solitude that sweeps the dining room of Blake Street Kitchen. Aligning with the club's modern atmosphere and hospitality, Blake Street Kitchen functions both as walk-in cafe and a sit-down bistro. The vacant place is not nearly a sign of needing more patrons. To me, it's the 'Free Parking' space on the Monopoly board which caters to a casual crowd like the retiree or a family of four. Today, Blake Street Kitchen was to answer our Saturday What's for dinner?" whims. We went for the chef's special dishes that were fastidiously presented with the meat

Came here for a staff lunch and ordered the seafood bowl. Was quite nice but preferred if some seafood was served fresh instead of all fried.Atmosphere here is nice and modern! They could do abit better with their drinks as the staff wasn’t familiar with what they have available.

We ordered beef burger, mushroom burger and schnitzel burger. I think their meat burgers were a little dry. Other than that, it's only $30 for four burgers, a large bottle of soft drink and large fries. It's worth the money and the staffs were super friendly too. Definitely going back for their mushroom burger soon. ❤️

Food:Always tasty. We had tried their steak and it is not chewy or a meat with heaps of tendons. Medium rare steak was nice.Pasta is good, we had chilli prawn penne and chicken penne. Those pasta that we had were superb.Place:There is a free parking in the basement if you’re a member.Price:They have deals everyday, so you can pick what say you want to eat the food that you have been devouring for a very long time.Staff:Friendly
