Cool or Cosy

We got off to a rocky start. The salesman was unable to answer our questions and promised all sorts of things that were not true. The battery and the installation is all good, and once the managers became aware of the problems we had, they came out and rectified them. We now have a system we are very happy with and have no worries recommending them.

Recently went through the process of getting quotes for Solar and battery for home use. From the Outset Cool or Cosy gained the required ticks as the only company that contacted and then visited the site to discuss our needs. Their quote although not the cheapest was highly detailed and fully explained with superior warranty.Once the quote was accepted the attention to grant applications was rapid and install was ahead of predicted. The install team was highly professional and not a scrap of, plastic or paper wrapping, electrical wiring offcuts, masonery drillings or other rubbish remained.After install a comprehensive handover was explained fully and the company has dealt rapidly with any queries.

My contract with Cool or Cosy for solar panels had come to an end. I then get a phone call telling me their accounts department has made an error, and I now need to pay hundreds of dollars for their mistake.Only mistake I made is been a good customer and purchased more panels, which I'm now trying to get removed because, even if my new contract ends I might be liable for hundreds of dollars due to accounting error.

If i could give this company 0 stars I would. Lied to by the initial consultant in regards to what the solar panels do and the install date. Finally got the unit installed nearly 5 months after the quoted time. Then the electrician did not hook up the unit correctly resulting in another 2 weeks of 0 power generation.Electrician was rude, arrogant and constantly complaining about the job whilst on my property.Numerous bent roof panels which they siliconed up. I called and complained numerous times about the poor install only to fluffed off.They are one of the more expensive installers around but for the service and quality of install that you get from them you are better off buying from a smaller company.

Every person we have dealt with from consultant through to the installers have been friendly, accommodating and professional. Follow up phone call post installation was a nice touch. The installers were fab! Very professional and cleaned up very well when they left. Would definitely deal with this company again

The installation over 5 years ago was great but since then, there has not been any contact and now when my system is faulty it has taken over a week of me making 3 phone calls to chase up a time for it to be looked at. And at 4:40 on a Tuesday the job assignment team have finished for the day!!!

Dodgy, arrogant scammers. Don’t use. Ripped me off my Solar Charing $16k for a 6.5kw. I didn’t know the value in Solar at the he time. Tried to talk to them and became defensive. Manager was meant to call but didnt

We have debated for years about solar panels, when we finally decided to go ahead we contacted Cool or Cosy. Josh our consultant was very helpful , from our first meeting until the panels were installed service and attention to detail by the staff was impeccable. An all Australian product was a must for us . We highly recommend this company!

Cool or Cosy installed a new Tesla Powerwall 2 battery for us in March 2020 to go with our new 10KW solar system. Initially the battery was not fully discharging but this soon rectified itself (I'm not sure if the software monitors and learns the usage patterns?) but now it works really well and has pretty much eliminated our usage from the grid on most days over the last couple of months. From quote to order to installation and follow-up, communication was really good (quick, helpful responses from Nathan Moody), and although batteries are not cheap, their quote was comparable with others. We joined the Simply Energy Virtual Power plant (SEVPP) and they have been really good too (Sooo much better than Origin who were a complete shower of ****). Recommended.

Do not use this company . I had solar installed which did not work . After countless phone calls and emails i decided to stop paying them . Still no communication. After 2 more yrs they decided they were going to take me to court for not p asying for a non working system . Through their lawyers i explained the situation and eventually got my inverter replaced . It finally works now and ive started paying them again lol . Now they have added the lawyers fees to my bills hmmm . I hope this can discourage people from using them . Thanks .
