This is one of the best things to see & do in Kuranda. Fantastic selection of local wildlife as well as crocodiles, snakes, the wombat & of course the koalas. For a small extra fee you can have a photo cuddling a koala. Feed the beautiful little Melamines and Wallabies as you sit amongst them hopping around the garden. Hold one of the biggest pythons you could imagine and check out the crocodile feeding time. Absolutely wonderful & well worth every cent.

My only disappointment was we weren't allowed to take our own pictures when I held a koala. Instead we had to purchase one.

It was great to be able to hold a kaola, but everything else there was very underwhelming, worth about 30 minutes of your time

MUST VISIT PLACE❤️.Once you reached kuranda you have few things to do and one of the best is koala garden and koala cuddle. You can see crocodile, kangaroo and the koala. You have to take tickets separately for koala cuddle. Tickets can be purchase in front of the garden entrance and wait for the next time slot. Small kids are not allowed to hold koala. You can feed kangaroos there. Overall a nice experience. Time duration: 1 hour min

Wonderful albeit small but perfectly formed to enable us to see everything and as closely as possible. Highlight was def koalas. Allowed within 2 metres of them. Absolutely adorable and they seemed at ease

Really unique experience seeing all the koala’s up close, there’s crocodiles, frogs, lizard’s, kangaroos and a nocturnal enclosure. We got to hold a koala and have some photos taken which was amazing. The staff are very friendly.

What a fantastic experience watching and holding a Koala. The staff at the entrance provided a lot of information about the place and she was very welcoming. We got to see the Kangaroos and wombats during feeding time. We didn’t have a long wait. I strongly recommend this experience.

Better than I expected.Thought it was going to be a bit of a let down but actually was an enjoyable hour or so here with the kids. Plenty to see. There were plenty of kolas and they were very active. The fresh water crocs as well we’re busy. Felt a little sorry for the Roos as their area was pretty small.But overall happy to have gone here

Terrible place. Rude staff. Wasted my time and money. Didn't had a chance to interact with animals. Most animals are caged. If not, scared and hiding in the corner. Only one kangaroo is happy to interact which the other tourist keep to himself for good 10 minutes. Went on queue 11:30 to have a photo with the koala. 15 minutes later, the lady said I have to come back 12:30. I understand the poor animal have to rest but atleast have the decency to inform people ahead of time instead of letting them wait in vain. After more than 30 minutes of boredom we decided to leave. Worst experience in Cairns.
