Aquatic Achievers Paddington Swim School

Fantastic swim school with many options for all ages.

Both of my children have attended aquatic achievers since around 6 months of age. They love it! The staff are lovely and professional. It has definitely increased my children's confidence in the water. I would highly recommend

Absolutely TERRIBLE! I was promised that my son would be challenged and learn quickly at the introductory session but at the first lesson he spent 3/4 of the time learning to float (which he can already do) and not swim, which is the point of swimming lessons. The second time I went, there were no parking spots available and no street parking. If they want people to be able to take their children to swimming lessons they need to supply parking! After cancelling his lessons, they then charged me for 2 months of lessons without my permission. VERY under impressed!!!! I've only given them one star because I can't give them zero.

My son goes there but I have found it is very busy. 4 kids per class which waste so much time. Kids do not get attention and they do not learn quick enough.Staff at reception is good, but they mostly do not have time to talk.My card was stolen once and a lady called me as advance payment was declined, as the card was cancelled. She was rude and very abrupt.I might search for a new school

We've been coming a year now. My 2 yr old loves the class and my 4 yr old has grown to enjoy it. Not every kid loves swimming buts it's a skill so I was thrilled that we were able to work with the swim school to find the right teacher, approach and worked on progression lessons to get where we are today. We are very happy with how things are going.Special shout out to Saffron and Rosemary for their patience and expertise - legends!

My son has attended this swim school consistently for the past year. When he started he didn't want to put his head under the water or have splashing on his face. Fast forward to today where he's swimming several metres with face in no worries and floating for long periods. The classes have been consistent and engaging.

We've been attending this pool for a long time and several coaches were really good. I also appreciate their structured approach to lessons. However, they seem to be quite inconsistent with how they apply their own rules when progressing a kid to the next level and with giving feedback regarding kids progress. There's also high turnover of staff that my daughter was struggling with. The reason I write this review is however different, but related. Recently I had a conversation with one of the evaluation team members and it appeared that not only the pool applies the criteria selectively, but their evaluation team is not interpreting their own criteria fairly, correctly and consistently, which I discovered after talking to another team member. I asked for another person to evaluate my other kid and there were no problems with that. In fact, I was seeing that this other kid needs improvement based on the evaluation. But, the story was not over as it appeared. Today my wife is getting a call and a Senior team member who I have a name of, is inappropriately, in an angry manner talking to my wife with regards to my conversation to her team member. This is really rude because my wife was not part of that conversation at all. That is stressful
