Star Car Wash - Capalaba

Even taking my cars to the team at Capalaba for about a year and they have done a great job every time. Always quick and thorough. Bought back a 2012 Corolla that hadn’t been cleaned in years (bloody kids) and made it look brand new.

Not happy. Asked for outside only and wheel arches. They haven't done all the wheel arches only what can be seen. Was charged for this item and was a half hearted job at best. When they say wheel arches it should be all including above the wheels. Not impressed at all. As l paid for this.

Very disappointed. Not at all worth the $50 I paid. I had just bought this car, which unfortunately had not had the interior cleaned for me prior to handover. It was not terribly dirty but I decided to get a professional clean to start fresh even though the $50 would be a bit of a stretch for me. When I got home I had a proper look at the workmanship. It looked as though they had quickly vacuumed the seats, wiped the dash and sprayed deodoriser and that's it. There was still heaps of dirt in the inside of the doors, the centre console was filthy, the floors/matts have not been cleaned/vacuumed properly. There is every stuff under the front seats which shows they didn't do a proper job. They had plenty of time to complete the job, but it looks like they spent maybe 10 mins, even though they had an hour to complete the work. Do those pics really reflect $50 worth of work?

Selected Star Polish option.- Exterior washed ok but water marks remain.- Doesn't appear to have any special wax treatment given the water marks left on bonnet.- Finger marks and palm prints remain on stainless steel snorkel.- Still has dirt on side step.- Inside of windscreen still has marks.- Inside of door frame trims still dirty.***NOTE*** Underground carpark is so dark and poorly lit that it would have made it difficult to do a 100% job or to visually check it on completion.Not really worth the $99 fee, ($84 if booked online).

Car looks nice & shiny they did a great job. A lady was walking past as I was getting into the car & she asked me about the service & I told how great it was & she asked me about how I booked it & I said to go to online & book it

Don’t use these guys I paid $269 for a full details on my Amarok the car was returned to me covered in polishing marks and requires completely going over with microfibre to remove. Not only this they broke my front passenger side window plastic holding clips leading to the window now not functioning. Have taken no responsibility even though the window worked perfectly when I arrived. Now need to pay vw for repairs to be carried out $255 parts only at this stage without labour with the window taped up for a week while we wait on parts.

I booked my vehicle online for a Platinum wash at Capalaba to the value of $69, and immediately upon arrival today I was coerced strongly into upgrading for another $20 to a 'better' clean on the car (which I didn't feel I needed to do, but the man was very insistent). Aside from a little mud splash around the rear tyres, the care was not unusually dirty. So having paid an extra $20 the vehicle is STILL dirty and the premium clean I expected from paying the extra money was not worth my while. I have lodged feedback via their website to get a refund for at least the extra $20 I was forced to spend when the car has not been cleaned properly at all. Very disappointing and not worth the money.

Star wash Capalabaa is a great car wash with great friendly staff. They accommodate your need if you have limited time at the shops and will completed your car in the time you request to a high standardThanks again Chris
