We are happy with the installation of our panels. They were installed on time and appear to be working well. Some of the things we were promised (such as the capacity to monitor our electricity use on our phones) have not been delivered, and the calls we've made to VicSolar to work this out have never been returned.

They take ur money and run. When you ring the number it goes straight to an answering machine. You email them and it bounces back. Just contacted consumer affairs whom they had same issue. My concern I spent close to $15k on interest free while I was paying it was easy to get hold on to them. Once I fully paid am off wasn't able to no longer contact them. Tried the number and emails, today I just tried to reply back to an old email they sent me. I wanted to know where is the saving they where talking about, I received a $900 dollar bill and my bills have been just as high with the solar i have 18 panels. Consumer affairs now advised me to go to VCAT and another person have suggested to go to Current Affairs. I am asking all those with the same issues to do same and expose this mob as they are still operating stealing people's money and getting away with it. To new customers looking for ratings about this mob please don't believe them do waste you money I can prove it and show you my bills since having VicSolar they are not worth your hard earned money and you save 0%. Used this company to install solar panels 6 years ago, panels have burnt out one panel caught fire have tried all avenues to contact them including consumer affairs all to no avail still have 4 years of so called warranty left on them panel supplier has gone out of business had to get another more reputable company to come in and try and fix them they then told me they weren’t even installed and wired up correctly.Had to get whole system decommissioned and install new system from a reputable company which had plenty of excellent reviews

Totally lied to my inlaws even whilst I was there. Their rep said you never have to pay a electricity Bill again once solar installed. When I brought this to their attention they said that the rep no longer works for them . Solar is totally useless and power bill savings is miniscule after paying over $5000. Keep away from these crooks.

Hi all,After negotiating a price on my 6kw 3phase system.The system was installed on the agreed time and agreed price.I had done a bit of research so I new the price I was going to pay.At the start with the sales rep, he asked an outrageous price. I said no way, but after a bit of negotiations I got the price I was happy with.The Sysrem has been installed now for six months with no problems.Installation crew was on time and did a neat job.Roof Panels came out of a sealed pallet and the inverter was manufacturered 3 months earlier and also came out of a new sealed box.No damage to any of my Roof or Roof tiles.All in all very happy.I would recommend them; but make sure you research pricing and don't budge on the price your willing to pay for.This is my second solar system and wouldn't go under 5kw if you have the roof space no matter what.Cheers.

Unreliable and untrustworthy. I strongly recommend not dealing with this company. Their isolator caught fire and burned a huge hole in the side of my house and they have consistently refused to repair the installation even though they are obliged to under Australian consumer law and the installation was only three years into the ten year warranty. They claim their insurers have told them not to do the repairs, which is complete nonsense. They don't answer mail, they don't return emails and they don't return phone calls. This company is to be avoided.I should have known there would be problems when they started to ignore me as soon as they'd completed the initial installation and got my money. Installation was fine but afterwards it took a long time to get their much vaunted wifi connection working in order to provide us with information about how our panels are performing and they didn't seem to have any expertise in this area, suggesting we contact the manufacturers in Asia. They don't seem to understand that under Australian consumer law it is the retailer's responsibility to supply a product fit for service but, eventually - and after many phone calls and emails - they did send someone out. After it finally worked I emailed them three times asking for information on how to interpret the readings I was receiving but they haven't responded to any of these messages.

Sales person was fantastic, product is good, install team Fantastic. But after sales Customer service is hopeless/useless, they said They will take care of connecting us to the Grid, 6-8 weeks after the Inspector visited we where told by AGL, Vic Solar still did not send in the required Paper work for us to be on the grid. They are also hopeless with getting back to you when they say they will. Sad that a good product is being let down by a very bad Admin/Customer service teamNow 8 months after installing and still not on the Grid. They sent the paperwork wrong twice to AGL. Not organizing with Ausnet properly to have Meters merged. #amateurhour waste of money

**Beware**terrible customer service if anything shall become an issue after installation!I am still waiting for issue to be rectified even with warranty, 2 months after notifying them!I had it installed couple of years ago and with the latest storm it went off the grid.My first time to contact them, expecting to be handled rather quickly, but am still waiting.They will eventually respond with bull*** excuses and never deliver!!My next step is to notify the Victorian Ombudsman but want to WARN any new customers first.If you purchase, and need assistance down the track, you will be ON YOUR OWN. Feel bad for anyone who recently purchased...They are lucky to even get one star from me.

My wife and I were very happy with the team at VicSolar. The service down to the installation was a great experience. They followed up post installation to see if we had any issues, which we thought was a nice touch.Everyone involved was professional and upfront, especially with the costs and what we were able to afford at the time.8 months on, the system seems to be working great! No issues yet and the savings are helping us a lot financially.Keep up the good work!
