Paid for items, their carrier couldn't deliver, tracking number totally fake. Their reply - send us an email, pay for the goods a second time, and maybe, one day, we'll refund your first order. When I asked for money back, they threatened to go to the police! These guys are cowboys.

Customer service is terrible. Just beware not to purchase item BKT1261 as the wall plate is only 450mm wide. Just not suitable for stud walls. Good for brick.

Fantastic range and everything is in stock. I am in QLD and if I order before 3pm my parts arrive by courier midday the following day. Excellent packaging with clear labels on every part which makes installing the right component very easy. Well done!

Awesome service via email and great stock availability, only giving 3 stars because the customer service via phone is woeful and a waste of time.

I have been a WES trade customer for over 10 years and the sales team are highly efficient, friendly, courteous and nothing is ever too much trouble. Being interstate doesn't matter, their choice of couriers is simply amazing as most of my orders are received next day. Thanks for the exceptional services - I will always turn to WES first before even considering any other supplier.

I've been dealing with WES for over 30 years, NEVER have I had a problem with any of my orders. No matter who I dealt with, they have all been courteous. Highly recommended.How things change, at the moment I suspect there's been a culture change in attitude and customer service. It's actually over 40 years that I've been their customer, in that time when one pays for courier service in 99.9 % cases orders are delivered the next day. Not this time, it's an E-Parcel with Australia Post, expected wait time 7 days. I sent a e-mail to sales expressing my disappointment, I'm not at all surprised that I've not received a reply.

I’ve been buying components from here since Dulcie ran the counter in their small shopfront in Ashfield. She was never renowned for her customer service, but I couldn’t argue the range and prices.Thirty-odd years and two moves later, their range is even larger (read as “huge”) and their pricing still excellent compared to the other electronics retailers. It seems to be rare that they don’t have what I’m after in stock.Their customer service has improved as well, but if anything they might be trying to do too much these days. If you shop in person on the weekend, you might find that the person in front of you is trying to source a replacement transformer for their rare 1950’s model train set. The staff will take the time to help them out, only to find that they then have to explain how plugs work. And wires. And model trains. Frustration all round, I’m sure.Pro tip: Avoid shopping in person on the weekend.But if you know what you need, order it on the web, wait for the text message, get in and get out. Quick and easy.

I called before coming in and explained what I wanted repaired. When I arrived the repair guy would not look at my portable speaker. What I needed doing was very simple but required certain tools that I don’t have at home. The speaker is useless without this fix and discontinued in Australia so it’s either try and fix it or throw it out. I explained I was willing to sign a waiver if the speaker broke but I was unceremoniously and quite rudely told that they would not help. What a waste of time
