Rather disappointed with customer service. I searched the web for Epson scanners and chose two machines with potential. After reading the specs I called CS at Epson with a number of questions. The person that answered the call could only respond by reading the specs. I asked for someone with greater knowledge on scanning without success. My questions remain unanswered.

Hello to all,I don't normally complete reviews but on this occasion i have taken the time and effort to do so. I had a warranty issue in that my kids didn't register for the additional 12 month warranty online. When I explained this to Sarah O. she quickly remedied the issue and registered my additional year warranty online. It is great service and very expedient. I am grateful for the customer service offered by Sarah and the team at Epson. The additional warranty has helped me a great deal as the Officeworks store would not honour a warranty claim in these Co-vid times as my warranty expired and they would not accept during lockdown it was difficult to get the printer in for service. Very poor service. I will be purchasing my printers from Epson in future.Keep up the good work Sarah and the team at Epson - great customer service. Your telephone support are great even post warranty they assist me with tech. issues at no cost. I am about to purchase a new printer form Epson as we speak. Free delivery orders over $100.00 Fred.

Appalling customer service once product has been purchased. We have a multi-function inkjet printer that we purchased in Australia approximately three years ago. We recently moved to Germany and have purchased replacement inkjet cartridges that are recommended for the equivalent machine that is available in Europe. Unfortunately the machine indicated that it cannot identify these cartridges and hence we are unable to print. Epson Australia is not being helpful regarding this issue and trying to handball it to Epson Europe. We have been able to ascertain that the TX810FW and PX810FW are equivalent at the level of hardware, with the only difference being a distinction of firmware that limits the use of the cartridges to a national market, while they too, are otherwise completely identical with regard to make and fill. We are extremely disappointed as what we perceive as a deliberate obstruction of the customer to maximise the companies gain on their already expensive cartridges. This step renders our device effectively worthless if we are literally forced to import identical cartridges from the other side of the earth. Very disappointed and frustrated customer who will not be purchasing an Epson product again.

Can't contact head office over the phone, the number provided won't even accept the keypad inputs, feels like a scam to me. Printer failed after 1 month, Wi-Fi is totally dead on it and won't connect, help desk has no solution just circular reasoning and are wasting my time. The Epson website clearly display the ACL rules so I think it's time to raise my case with Fair Trading since no one is willing to help or contact me to resolve a simple issue.

EPSON, making people’s life more difficult. Why can’t we print if only one cartridge is run out of ink while the rest of cartridges are completely full??? …..the brand’s greed to make more money is nasty. Thanks for making my day today

While working in Singapore I bought an EPSON XP-442 printer, and registered it with EPSON. Since returning to Australia I continued to use it, and recently ran out of ink in one of the cartridges. The EPSON Status Monitor 3 software alerted me to this, and provided me a link to order OEM cartridges directly from EPSON. I ordered a full set of cartridges, and when it arrived I compared the old empty cartridge to the new one, and since they are the same, replaced the old one.The printer did not recognise the new cartridge because it had a different model number, and the printer only accepts printer cartridges bought in Singapore (same printer model). When contacting support I was informed that they will only accept back the unopened cartridges, and charge $15.00 restocking fee.A perfectly good printer going the dump.Totally unacceptable. And of course, my next printer cannot be from Epson.

I rang 4 times to get technical support. No support just very Ryde overseas call centres.Tried to ring head office in Stdney. Again got very rude person answering their phone in head office Macquarie Park. Kept talking over me. Would not listen. Hung up on me. No way of contacting anyone in a senior position. The company has deteriorated dramatically in the last 3 years. No complaints mechanism. I will never buy another Epsom product. No wonder a lot of 1 reviews. In days gone past spoke directly to technical support person. Very bad.

I have had two WF2530 printers this year. The first one refused to work and I was issued with a number ending with DOA" (Dead on Arrival?) so I returned the printer to the vendor for a full refund. The second WF2530 worked bieifly but then failed completely. I rang the appropriate 1300 number and was sent an email giving me instructions to overcome the problem. However

Our Epson printer goes on strike in order to force us to buy ink cartridges we do not need. It keeps track of which cartridges have been used, and it refuses to print until we buy new ones, even if plenty of ink remains in the old ones. Even if the black ink cartridge is full, it will refuse to allow us to print grayscale unless we buy new color cartridges.I am surprised that it is legal to do this, and I will certainly not buy another Epson product in the future. They should be ashamed.

I bought two same printers, it cost me months to try to print the first page, I kept contacting epson service for technical support, other than just let me buy new inks which I did three times, but still couldn’t print and fix the red ink light problem, every time they emailed me a feedback , then I emailed over 20 emails to put problems on it with both descriptions and photos, but they said they never received any of my emails then I changed another email but they said they still didn’t get my replied email, I thought I just took the printer to Macquarie park epson computer to solve the problem but don’t know they will let me in or not, what should I do, the only usefulness for this printer is I used it as a stand to put my lap top. higher. Does anyone have similar problems? Not mention their functions yet…
