Hard to find a good “old school” fish and chip shop these days. These guys are the best in the area. They even throw in a couple of free potato cakes!

Never had a bad meal from this Fish & Chip shop. Great quality and very reasonable prices. A hidden gem!! Lucky to have a great shop close by..

Great fish and chip shop!First of all, like a lot of other reviews have mentioned, it's really clean. Not just for a fish and chip shop, this place is seriously clean!The place is owned and run by a fantastic family. Jimmy, Gina, Nick and the team are all lovely. Everyone is incredibly friendly which adds to the service which is already top notch.Of course what is important is the food. No cutting corners on quantity or quality and all for a very reasonable price. Loved it!Would definitely recommend giving this place a go.Will back for sure!

The staff seemed friendly and attentive, giving me high hopes for a delightful dining experience. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned once the food arrived at my table.The chips, which are a crucial component of any fish and chips meal, were disappointing from the start. They were limp, greasy, and lacked the crispy texture that makes them so enjoyable. It was evident that they had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long, resulting in a stale and unappetizing taste. Even the generous sprinkling of salt and vinegar couldn't salvage their lackluster flavor.The fish itself was equally disheartening. The batter appeared soggy and overly thick, obscuring any potential freshness or flavor of the fish beneath it. As I took my first bite, I was met with an unpleasant greasiness that overwhelmed my palate. The fish was disappointingly overcooked and lacked the moist, tender texture that characterizes a well-prepared dish.To add insult to injury, the accompanying tartar sauce was lackluster and lacked the tangy zing that should complement the fish. It seemed as if it had been hastily prepared, lacking the freshness and vibrant flavors that elevate a dish.Regrettably, the poor quality of the chips and fish overshadowed any redeeming qualities the restaurant might have had. Despite the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service, the food fell far short of expectations, leaving me with a sense of disappointment.In conclusion, I cannot recommend this particular restaurant for anyone seeking a satisfying chips & fish meal. The food quality was undeniably disgusting, with greasy and stale chips, overcooked fish, and a lackluster tartar sauce. It's essential to seek out other establishments that prioritize the quality and freshness of their ingredients to ensure a truly enjoyable dining experience.

20% surcharge on Good Friday!!! You have lost a loyal customer for good. Times are hard for most, but greed is not a good look for your business. Such a poor call, I hope you regret your decision to add 20% to our fish and chips.

This family run business has outsmart most other businesses in the vicinity. The quality of fish was fresh ,great taste and crispy texture with batter coating done perfectly. The potato cakes and chips were of outstanding quality. Best customer service with great quality food at very reasonable cost. Best fish and chips eaten after a long time . Would love to visit this place more often to fulfill my apetite for great FISH N CHIPS along with great addition of Potato Cakes.
