Agree with other reviews - this place is great for families and kids. Easy access to the island. The fort is only open on Sundays (for tours), but during most tidal conditions it is possible to walk around the island just above high tide mark on the rocks

Came here to watch the sunset as it's known to be one of the best sunset views in Sydney. So it was cloudy and didn't get much of a sunset which means I will have to come back again. I can definitely tell however that it will be a spectacular view on a clear day! Noticed this is a great place to have your wedding photos taken as I saw plenty of newly married couples here for a shoot, not just wedding shoots but family photos too. The view however is worth it.

Such a beautiful spot to watch the sunset, was magnificent. I wouldn’t recommend toddlers as there’s cliffs and just seems dangerous in general. Was so stressed about my littles the whole time (ages 4 and below) but would be a great spot with friends, partner or older children. Has a beautiful spot to eat (closes at 7pm which is a shame) and has a great park for the kids and cute little beach. It reminded me a bit of Europe. Was very lively and the energy was high. The parking is a problem on school holidays and weekends but overall was a great experience! I wouldn’t recommend bikes or scooters, walking is enough.

Gorgeous views at sunset. Lots of people exploring above and under the bridge. Great place for people to fish. Kids loved playing on the hill around the rocks.

A great spot for fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving & photography! Packed with amazing views throughout the whole day from sunrise to sunset, with plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants.- On busy days, especially summer weekends, it can get very difficult to find parking.

If you are a sunset lover like me, you can’t miss sunset in La Perouse. It gets quite windy in the evening, so don’t forget your jacket.
