Nathan, Jarrad and the team at Cultiv8 landscaping are fantastic. They always do a quality job with our hedge trimming, are friendly and always on time. Would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a top job on their garden.

Cultiv8 team have done a fantastic job removing our old deck - replacing it with travertine, adding drainage, and repairing the sandstone wall. It was a big job with lots of historical issues. Nothing the team couldn't solve elegantly though. Started the job exactly when they said they would, finished the job exactly when they said they would. Were really helpful when we had to make decisions along the way about things we don't understand, first class workmanship, and so clean and tidy! 100% recommend.

Nathan provided a very fair quote for paved and artificial grass areas around our townhouse. It was a challenging job with difficult site access. Some nasty drainage issues were discovered but Nathan , Riley and Michael dealt with them. A couple of recommended variations to the original design were made to us, with the costings made crystal clear. Nathan explained why he felt they were necessary and we ABSOLUTELY saw the sense in them and appreciated the suggestions. As part of their routine, we saw that Nathan's team cleaned up the common areas of our townhouse complex after each day. Throughout the course of the job, we could see Nathan's skills on show, with his meticulous attention to detail evidenced by the immaculate transformation of our townhouse grounds. The job was completed without disruption, right on time. Honest, fair, timely, happy, obliging..... all the good adjectives on display here!

They exceeded my expectation in terms of professional advice, quality finish, on time delivery and within budget!How did this happen?1. They get meI am a very risk adverse person and asked a lot of questions before making a decision. I told Nathan what outcome I would like to have, he listened well & gave me landscaping advice on the ‘what’ and the ‘how’, including important things that I never thought of.In addition, Nathan is patient and calm. He explained the processes involved with clear, easy-to-understand layman language that eased my anxiety. So, after a few years of just engaging them to do garden maintenance (which is also excellent), I decided to proceed with this garden make-over project.2. Clear, itemised estimateEveryone is concerned these days of blown-out material costs and supplied chain delays, thus initially I preferred a fixed $ contract. My fixed mind-set changed after I received a detailed, itemized estimate. Any assumptions and unknown variables are detailed in this estimate. From this document I understood the key processes involved, what materials are needed and where money would be spent. This is so helpful in preventing any surprises later on, because both Cultiv8 and I are on the same page from the outset.Nathan also explained to me with great patience the items on the estimate that I did not understand. I knew what could bring the cost down and how any change of mind (from my part) might cost money. The result? My project is 100% within my budget.3. Workmanship and professionalismCultiv8 has very dedicated professional team members. They are a great team who work very well with each other, extremely hard-working, and always arrive on time. They cleaned up every single day they were on-site. They consulted me on key decision points whilst remained autonomous and sensible in deciding on other operational matters. At the end of each day Nathan gave me a de-briefing of what would happen next and how the project was progressing against the schedule. That is how they managed to deliver my garden make-over within the estimated time frame given the weather condition.The works they completed are meant to last, of top notch quality and absolutely no short-cuts. They won my trust very quickly and greatly reduced the anxiety during the transformation stage. I kept receiving compliment from my neighbours of their craftsmanship and dedication, both during the process and after this project was finished.In conclusion, I highly recommend Cultiv8 to anyone who wants to have quality landscaping done. I live in Sydney’s inner west and needed landscapers to implement a design created by a friend of mine who was not Sydney based. I engaged Tim and Nathan from Cultiv8 after discussing the scope of the job and upon receipt from them of a very detailed quote. They were one of four companies who I discussed the job with and received quotes from.The work was quite large in scale for a suburban garden, entailing drainage, brickwork, paving, irrigation, a retaining wall, raised garden beds for vegetables, back and front yard decorative planting beds plus back and side garden lawns. They kept to the quote and at times made suggestions to the landscape designer who in every case agreed to their suggested changes.They were professional, kept to the time frame and to the budget. Any changes were flagged and priced immediately. The recycled brick paving was done with great care and craftmanship and I can say after heavy rains the retaining wall and drainage showed that the work they did was to a high standard. They also showed how reliable they were, returning after the work was completed and paid for, when I needed 12 salvias replaced some months later. The error was on the part of the nursery who provided incorrectly labelled plants. They came back and replaced all of them at no cost to me.I would highly recommend this company. You could see they were tradespeople who genuinely cared about their work and doing a great job to a very high standard. And they were good fun.
