Loved the croissant! Our first angmoh breakfast since we landed!Really like the vibe and atmosphere of the cafe. Very easy to find too. Will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

I am so glad this place has started to open for dinner service at the weekends again. The new owners have devised a stunning menu and the food is 10/10. The decor is classic, service is great and I will definitely be going back!

The new cafe Rafael (previously called cafe de France) is amazing. The menu has a lot more variety, they use fresh ingredients and quality cooking! Love it! Look how fresh the figs look!!

Service is very friendly and the opening hours are quite extended considering it’s a cafe, allowing you to have a bit of a sleep in before having a coffee or brunch. The coffee is nice but the prices are a bit steep for the portions you receive. Also miss the old carrot cake recipe, was my favourite.

French cuisine and cafe style. Food was tasty but not exceptional. Croque monsieur was the highlight for me. Nutella crepe was a little disappointing. Service is attentive and efficient. Must try the dinner menu next time.

The Véritable Croque-Monsieur was amazing, well worth the wait. The croissant fresh and moist, what a delight. A very satisfying and heavy breakfast, will be trying their dinner menu next time. Even though they were very busy we didn't have to wait very long.

The food here is sensational, well priced that we chose a few things on the menu to try cause we couldn’t choose what to leave out. We appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed each of beautiful elements. It reminded us of what eating a meal should be like. Came back for Brekky too and found it so hard to choose what to leave out.

Great food, very nice people, an overall fuss free experience. Got a place to sit for the 3 of us on a very sunny Saturday morning which was excellent! Minutes walk to the beautiful views of Coogee beach. Loved everything about this place. Would I go back? 100%
