It's great service, a family run business so it always has a friendlier feel when compared to the bigger retail chains.

Supplied my own new tyres.$400 for x5 strip and fit with new tubes and rust bands.They fitted all wheels with second hand parts including patched tubes.I patiently waited about 2 days for them to fit this junk without blowing tubes.Lies upon lies, they forgotten which lies they had told and I had caught them out.No refund whatsoever.Absolute grubs.Street Wheels & Tyres has been nominated Scallywag of the Week.

Don't waste your time or money here, read the other bad reviews, they will give a good indication too. The welding job was so dodgy, it has to be removed and x-ray'd to check if it has even seeped into the crack. I might have to get a replacement wheel if it's too costly to re-repair. Read on for full story.I took my wheel in for repair 3 weeks ago. Graham was very friendly and informative + his quote was reasonable. Was told it would take a week but he would try and get it done sooner. Awesome.Waited 2 weeks, called to follow up, was told these repairs normally take 1-1.5 weeks: I reminded them that it had already been two weeks. They told me to call back on Saturday (3 days later) to see how it was going. Sure thing.I called back on Saturday and was told it was on the machine and would be done by noon. No worries I said, I'll call in Monday to pick it up.Called Monday morning to make sure it was ready to be picked up, of course it wasn't ready but it's on the machine and he'll call me when it's done. Called back at about 4pm the same day, didn't speak to Graham this time but someone else. I was told there were about 20 cars in front of me and they will call me when the wheel was ready.I asked for a better time estimate and was then told it could take 5 minutes to 5 hours but he will follow it up for me. The man also gave me attitude and said Why? Don't you have a spare tire?". 5/5 for service mate.Decided I had enough and picked up the rim the next morning.Don't go to these guys. His car plate even says Dodgy. What a character."

Dropped off 2 rims to be repaired. bend + gutter rash + new colour (fine bright silver)was i told there was 30 rims to fixed ahead of mine and it wil lbe bout 2 or 3 week, fine no worries.2 weeks pass, not started(says one guy is sick and another is away) (thats fine, i udnerstand )3 weeks pass not started4-6 weeks pass, no phone calls, (after being promised multiple times )7-8 weeks, by this poitnt ive been told that i just need 30 mins to paint em" about 6 times.also got "just need to clear coat now""they look great you'll love them""just need 5 mins""were really busy""etc etc etc " (---easy solution-- stop taking on more work until you have finished what you promised others)at 9 weeks

Was recommended this place, took my wheel there to be repaired back in February, had to go away for work a little after handing wheel over. Have contacted them to ask if my wheel is ready & they say they have no wheel matching the one I describe, they ask for a invoice number which I was never given. Would not recommend to anyone.

I would not go anywhere else for repairs to my alloy wheels. Bret can fix any alloy wheels and have them like new again. Pot holes flatterned rims no problem. Bret and the team are very customer focused.

Have had tyres, suspension and everything handling related serviced on two performance cars (one highly tuned) by Brett for three years without fault or need for concern. Possibly the only honest person I have come across in the industry with a wealth of knowledge he is happy to share if asked. I recommend both Brett and the company without hesitation and look forward to many years of continued servicing...

If you want to get the best rim repair in Qld go to see Brett at SWT. Best price and they work on your car as if it's their own. Half the price of their nearby competition . My jag is in excellent shape and I thought they had just replaced my wheel with a new one when I saw the superb job they had done. Unbeatable and good guys too.

I had to have the lip of my 18 Lenzo wheel machined and this guy Brett charges a fair price & does a really good job. No BS at all from this business
