Mov'In Boat Floating Outdoor Cinema

Watched The Notebook for Valentine's Day with my girlfriend. Firstly, the service was fantastic! They even had a red rose on the bed ready for us. Secondly, the pizza was to die for, would definitely recommend ordering the pizza once you are here. The screen and audio were great! Had no issues trying to watch or hear the movie at all. Overall, I loved the experience and will definitely attend further Mov'in Boat/Bed events.

The atmosphere was lovely. Perfect for a date. The movie was a bit too long to watch in a boat though and the sound wasn’t always clear. Best to go to watch something a bit more lighthearted and short.

Though I would post a review as I have seen a few mediocre ones! It was a great experience, the venue is cool and the staff are super friendly. We ordered a pizza prior to the movie, came fairly quickly and had a great time watching Casino Royal on a floating pontoon!

Took my grandma, accessible ramp for her to get onto the platform and the beds were nice nd comfortable for her for the whole movie. Even got free icecream!!!!!

The boat for me was very unstable and I was scared to get it.my wife and kids did and I waited outside. The service before is very rushed and the protocol to put on the life jackets etc is not too clear .the food and beverage offering are hideously expensive .The audio is good but video terribleThe movie that we were seeing was as well quite average so I definitely won't go there again or recommend it for anyoneunless u are onnthe loungers or beds and well fed before you go in

Ok, I'm not big on negative reviews. This was just so disappointing. We were given a gift voucher by my sister for Christmas. It was published on the website the cinema was closing at the end of February so we booked a bed for a film we weren't really interested. We were given a voucher for VIP seats, but due to the lack of films remaining, we missed out on a VIP booking. We thought we could use the remaining balance on the voucher to maybe get some food and drink. The looks we received when we asked were incredulous. Then I look on the website for the first time in months, they've extended the season. More films now in March. The speaker was cutting in and out behind us, and was difficult to hear.I do not recommend this. It's not worth it and like many others have said, the people running it are not doing a good job. It's a shame.

We had an amazing night! We came early enough to enjoy a pizza and a few drinks before the movie started. It was such a clear night so it made for such a great buzz in the air. The movie watching experience was amazing, the screen looked spectacular! Overall, I had such a wonderful night and I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

We came in early to reserve a spot, went out to grab dinner and a few drinks, then came back only to find a stranger on our bed using our blankie! It ruined our night so we just grabbed our stuff then went home. Doors open at 6pm but the movie starts at 830pm. What do you expect for us to do for 2 1/2 hours? Modify your booking policy so that everyone can reserve an exact spot. For that reason, I do not recommend this event.

A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.I can’t give one star as the staff member was nice and bed comfort was average.The video was ok but the screen was small compare to watching distance. You can't hear anything because of poor sound system and music coming out from the nearby bar/surroundings.The pillow was not at all comfortable. There was no bed head so the pillows don't stay on the bed and we were continuously struggling to fix it to watch the movie. At last, I decided to take a nap which works out good for me I am honestly admitting that I wasted my money and would not recommend anyone to waste their time and money for this event

Unfortunately I cannot in good faith recommend this place.After Donning a gross looking life vest we stepped onto a small rowboat. In order to watch the movie you must first locate and dock to a mooring.Finding a vacant mooring in the dark while in a small rowboat would prove to be a stressful and very unenjoyable task. After being unsuccessful in finding a free mooring I asked a staff member in a motorboat if he could help us find one before the movie starts. to which he replied keep trying" and zoomed off!The seats were uncomfortable and the screen is relatively small considering how far back you are seated. Using the bathroom during the film is practically infeasible.As for the experience itself.you feel like a goldfish with half of darling-harbour watching you! you will likely be in the background of many peoples photos!and as to be expected the harbour water stank!the boat felt very sketchy especially with 4 people and there is a very real risk of falling in!Not the kind of quality one would expect for a $120 movie going experience."
