Fancy Nails

Am i missing something here? i was under the impression that this was a professional nail salon however i left with my nails looking worse than when i came in (the photos dont do the damage justice).Asked for a full set of acrylics and a simple french tip design with hearts. to start off, while filing my nails down she butchered my cuticles and left them bleeding the entire service, secondly she cut the the tips completely different lengths to what i asked for but i assumed she would make it even after putting the acrylic on (at no point did she compair each nail). when she was finished shaping i noticed the acrylic was poorly applied and filed, with lumps on top and excess underneath the nails. i went up to the counter to pay and they tried to charge me 95$ and when i expressed that it should be no more than 70$ according to previous services she made the impression that more than one colour is extra, ive had my nails done longer, more colours, and much better work for 75$ at most at the same place.when i went back to complain she ignored my concerns and refused to give me any kind of refund, saying she would file them down to make them even, despite the fact that doing that would make them even shorter and do nothing to fix the nails that were lifted and out of place. throughout the whole conversation she was defensive and unapologetic, despite me being reasonably calm and understanble. i got no apology from her, only more attempts to hustle me.

One of the worst nail places iv been to, i understand that i may have high standards but shaping the nail correctly and making them EVEN AND STRAIGHT is a pretty low standard i have and they just have not done it. I asked for a simple nail design, shown with a photo and they said they could do it (a simple white french tip with a white flower). Each french tip is a different size, i asked for square shape and they are far from square (more like the duck shape), the flowers were poorly drawn on and there is fluff and debris in my nail. As i don’t like confrontation i didn’t say anything (although i should’ve) but it’s pretty simple to tell someone they can’t do the design they’ve asked and VERY SIMPLE TO DO A SQUARE SHAPED NAIL. Customer service was excellent but i’m very unimpressed with my nails and i will not be coming back.

I’ve been seeing the girls at Fancy Nails for many years now, I love the friendly atmosphere. Aimee and the girls always do a great job on my nails and are very fairly priced! They are so friendly, unlike many other salons who can often make you feel uncomfortable. I highly recommend Fancy Nails to anyone who would like a nice full set, infill, pedi or mani, not the best with nail designs, but excellent nail techs!

Lovely people but honestly this is the worst manicure I've ever had. I had to go somewhere else to get it redone. I was just gobsmacked that this was what I got so I just paid & walked out stunned. It looks like a 12 year old did it. Im not going to post a picture because I think that would be unfair considering I didn't say anything. This is more just a review for encouragement for staff to be prouder in their work & for customers to feel like they can actually say they aren't happy. Best of luck to everyone.

Very Unprofessional!!Came in with splint in my hand and ask her to be gentle on my hand , she was so aggressive she finished doing shellac in 20mins left a lot of undone work asked the other staff to fix it she did but she was very aggressive too and not happy about it.And you can tell when they speak behind ur back even know you don’t know the language.Waste of money, definitely not coming back!!

Only $55 for plain acrylics and they listen to what shape and length you want, only takes around 40-50mins and the ladies there are super nice, the one I was with complimented my hair.

Excellent service. Best place in town to get your nails done. Highly recommended. They give good time to do my nails. Really appreciate your hard work. Keep it up. Well done.
