Great display for a little town. Very welcoming to tourists. Great video of early history. Old rail motor is fascinating- would have been an interesting trip into Barcaldine.

Great history of the area and the tram way. There's a video there to watch that explains the trams history and how the Aramac area flourished. We stayed behind the pub and made the walk to the Tram Museum.

Fascinating old tram, based on AEC mechanicals. The tram is in excellent condition.... such a pity it no longer does any trips (like so many others, such as the Mt Morgan Rack Railway).Unfortunately, we couldn't see much of the display inside because we couldn't find the light switch!Interesting machinery dotted about outside.
