Came across this cafe on a wander in Apollo Bay….attracted up the side street by the busy vibe. Lovely team offering delicious vegan and vegetarian options. Yummy filled burrito topped with avo and best sourdough toast and peanut butter I’ve had in ages. Give it a go, especially if you usually have a bacon and egg roll. Different and delightful. Coffee great too.

This place is just stunning! It’s on the pricey end, but worth it for the quality, presentation and flavour combinations. We had the smashed avo, big breakfast and vegan crepe (best vegan dish we have tasted). Just divine!

Vegan / Vegetarian food.Beautiful way to start our day. The food was well cooked and tastes great. Nice and toasty for a sunny winters morning. We hadn’t had the best food experience at Apollo Bay but Icaro really hit the spot. The staff were welcoming and friendly too.

Excellent vegan options here! Its busy but the service is great. The people are lovely and the food and coffees are delicious.We had the tufu rachero, and summer bowl. Large servings and very tasty.

Such a delightful team here who make you welcome and love to have a laugh. Little cafe positioned slightly of the main road but supper good walking distance to the main strip. The food is amazing, fresh, homely, and fulfilling. If you are looking for food direct from Mother Nature this is the place to go. It’s rare to go for breakfast only to leave feeling comfortably full and satisfied. Well done to the team here for the care and love that they put into there meals and service.

Top start to my day - nourishing vegetarian The Avo (I add an egg) and the tea is freshly brewed and ample. And nice sidewalk vibe.Bread is just white sour dough so high GI. For wellness a multigrain or rye would be better.

Icaro is a short stroll off the main road and seems to cater to a niche market. Not a lot of seating options at this small Apollo Bay venue.St Ali beans are used here but not as well as one of my favourite local cafes. The coffee was good but not great. At $7 for a mug, I want great coffee!

Was so pleased to find a good vibe, eco-conscious cafe during a recent solo trip along the Great Ocean Road. The staff are friendly, service was efficient, and the food was simple yet delicious. Lots of vegan options on the menu & baked desserts in the cabinet, and a great range of alternative drinks with medicinal mushrooms, cacao & more. Loved my spicy ceremonial cacao! Thanks for the great cafe experience.

Recently stopped by here for lunch during our road trip and we were so glad that we chose this place. Everyone enjoyed their meals and coffee was great! I wouldn’t normally order a vegan pancake but it was delicious! Highly recommend this place if you happen to be looking for a place to eat in Apollo Bay!
