Let’s be honest it’s a nice looking store and the staff are nice but the prices are just too high , places like grow wild hydroponics can do everything for 25% to 50% cheaper I understand this place has more staff but I cant be paying $40 for a bag of coco I can get for $22 when I’m buying 20 bags I’m saving nearly $400 and that’s just the coco after buying the A+B, filters and all the rest of the yearly disposables My savings are in the thousands shopping somewhere else .

Great place, well stocked and the staff are great(laid back and friendly).They even entertained my two little ones with a tour and showed them the fish and massive tomatoes.Great advice for beginners like me.Great price.

If I could give less than a star I would. I’ve been coming here for a while and always had good help, but today David couldn’t have given less of a shit about helping me. I came in for help with a faulty growlight and was told they have no way of testing the fault, refused to replace the unit and blamed the faults on myself. What a shame, I’ve sent a lot of people here. Can’t wait to take my business and family’s business elsewhereEdit to review: a competitor store helped out and was able to prove the exact unit I needed (for cheaper!) Their service was actually helpful too - this business responded to me personally requesting proof of purchase - and when all I wanted to do was purchase a new unit! I never leave bad reviews - for anywhere - but I’m still so shocked that somewhere I’ve been to for years thought it was okay to treat a customer the way I was treated!

Large unique place. Don’t know why they don’t have a better star rating. I go here to look at all the cool plants and get my pumice for bonsai trees.

Nice surprise going to Aquaponics Xpress today. Enjoyed a slow walk through the whole shop, even though I only went for a purple sweet potato plant.

The store is well stocked, you can find just about anything you need in the one shop and the staff are friendly and helpful too but the prices are quite high especially when compared to other stores in the same area.My Bad experience, I made a purchase online and selected to pay in store at pickup. in the time it had taken me to drive to the store, the bulk buying prices were removed and I was charged full prices for grow media costing me $160 more then it should have, when I noticed and mentioned it to them, at first they were happy to honour the discounts asking me for my bank details but later changed their minds and no refund was given.Prices change quite frequently at this store and it’s not to benefit the customer. I have been dealing with Aquaponics/Hydroponic Xpress for over 30 years. I have always found them to be extremely helpful, friendly staff who are knowledgeable in their work. Shop at Warton Rd Canning Vale is well presented and maintained with reasonable price on quality items.
