I ordered a hot chocolate and a toastie neither tasted good the hot chocolate just tasted like warm milk and the toastie had no flavour and just tasted like runny cheese quite disappointed as the service was good in saying that my friend took the hot chocolates back to get more chocolate in it and they dropped the marshmallow in her drink on the bench and then placed it back in her drink will not be returning and don’t recommend eating here

Love coming here for good quality, well made coffee. Open nice and early in the morning too which is a bonus! Staff are always happy and smiling which makes a big difference but the best part is the delicious coffee because i am a fussy coffee drinker!

A very good cappuccino. The coffee to milk balance was perfect. The expresso taste was rich without being bitter. Fun to sit with the great at view and watch people.

Their Barnstaple makes a great coffee and the cakes were very tasty and staff very friendly

Really cool spot with amazing coffee

this cafe seems to have been taken over by young, woke prats, who absolutely cannot make a half decent flat-white coffee let alone something far more sophisticated.the tall, lanky, long-haired, cool barista guy needs another job, preferably one where he is not making coffee for people.as for his girlfriend? the fairhead with the superficial smile manning the till she will hopefully one fine & sunny cottesloe day surely realize a smile can only go so far once your silly customers finally realize that paying $5 for dreadful coffee just is not good enough!it has one thang going for it, and that is a plentiful supply of newspapers to read while your spitting out the dire coffee they make for you.

hot chocolate tastes like milk, asked for more flavour and when they mixed in the syrup the marshmallow spilt out of my drink onto the bench, she picked it up from the bench and put it back in my drink then served it to me. when my food came out my brekkie wrap tastes so awful i couldn’t eat it and my friends ham cheese toastie tastes like the cheese had been sitting in a hot car in 40° heat for days on end. it was honestly foul! I will not be returning and don’t suggest eating here. I also then proceeded to ask for a refund as the food was so bad and i was polite to the worker of course, the lady at the counter was happy to issue a refund whilst i was in store and then the owner came, threw the food i bought in the bin and asked me to stand aside and took my name, phone number and last 3 digits of my card because he couldn’t be bothered finding my transaction there and then to issue a refund, i still yet have not received my refund for the food i paid for that he chucked in the bin as i was promised a refund and it had been nearly a week since!!!! also might add that the phone number through google website is incorrect and he has not yet added his phone number so i am unable to contact him for my refund.. honestly such a horrible look for a business! although The lady’s working we’re lovely though x

I have started coming back to this cafe after a long stint of not liking the coffee. After the change of hands recently, I have found the coffee has been fantastic and the service great. I, like many others sit for our morning coffee everyday and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere along with the baked treats. You must try the nut cookies, delicious!
