Followmont Transport

Our business has been dealing with Followmont for 4-5 years already. Customer service is the best compared to other freight companies. Every time we called the ladies in the booking or tracking were always so patient and helpful. Drivers always very nice when picking up from our warehouse. But the company should really invest some money in their tracking system. Cant imagine we still cant track online where the freight is.

Would not recommend. Placed a delivery that is time critical. They shipped from Bris to Sydney and passed it to a 3rd party who they say they can't pass the details on to me - the customer who is paying for the service. Have been told the shipment that they gave an ETA of 13/12 is only being picked up from Sydney on 15th(due at location by 16th) and will be delivered maybe by 20thAbsolutley ridiculous when you're paying the price I'm paying.

One of the worst places to work at. People here haven’t been punched in the face In their lives and it shows.The managers on the rollers are a bunch of clowns honestly. People here have no social skills, which is probably why they’re stuck here. No one helps each other.This is probably the easiest job I’ve ever done in my life. But it was made extremely difficult and unpleasant by the people that work there.Everyone has an attitude.0.05/10 I’d rate this place. This whole place needs an attitude adjustment.If you’re a Pacific Islander? Don’t work here. Our personalities are bright. I’ve been caught constantly telling myself “don’t let the islander out of you”. Too many times I had to control myself from belting people here.Hope this helps the new employees.

Driver shown no care after nearly killing 4 people on highway, indicator flashed twice before merging over on us we had no time to speed up or slow down before the truck swerved towards us. The audacity to give us the finger after we honked and alerted him of the car full of people beside him overtaking. Absolutely appalling. Followmont should have their drivers regularly checked for arrogance/entitlement issues. Will never recommend. The roads are dangerous enough without these types of people in 10+ tonne trucks

Rude staff fleet allocater Lauren valentine is unprofessional with work ethics . Don’t recommend to anyone stuff not delivered yet.. what a shame

Impossible to get a hold of anyone to help. Apparently only one person handles interstate transfers. Every time you call you are on a stupidly long hold, assuming you get ahold of anyone. This time all I got was answering machine. Considering how much you pay this is absolutely pathetic, this isn't a once off either, this is how it's been every time I've tried to call for the last few weeks. I've most likely lost this customer thanks to this joke of a company. I'm not sure what happened you guys used to be great prior to COVID, now it's about as hopeless as it gets. No answer regarding tracking and now $2k worth of stock is just missing. Absolute Joke. Wouldn't trust you guys with a postcard

Followmont have been our preferred carrier for our company for nearly 15 yrs now. They used to be great but lately are nothing but a headache. We are constantly ringing them trying to find our stuff. Our customers take it out on us when you don't perform. Currently we have a consignment that shows on your site as picked up on Tuesday and to be delivered on Thursday. Turns out it was left behind 2 days in a row, so now won't turn up till Monday, maybe. Every person I have talked to has taken my number and promised to call me back. No one has, yet we still get charged the same. The service now is total rubbish and it's time for our company to take our business to someone else.

One of the worsts places you can work for. They do not care about you at all only see you as a statistic. Will not ever be recommending to anyone. Spent years of my life at this company like many others only to be over worked and under paid. No wonder you are losing staff since you treat them this badly. There is many other places that will treat employees right! If you work here expect to be given three times the workload with little pay and little expectations of leave. Work to live, NOT live to work, they will use you and abuse you.

Followmont are actually not bad at the delivery side (which isn't something you can say about most couriers). However, they are incredibly under-staffed in their customer service team and trying to book a job is almost impossible. Our last job I spent over an hour on the phone and multiple emails to get the basic quote. I then spent another hour on the phone (over three days) to get them to come pick it up. We would deal with them much more if there was more solid support behind the scenes. P.S The online portal doesn't seem to work either. You submit a job, and end up having to call to get a reply anyway.
