Tambaroora

We recently had an incredible gold panning experience with Jhob, a local guide who was truly passionate and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment we met, Jhob's passion for gold panning was contagious, and his wealth of knowledge about the activity was impressive and educational.Jhob's instructions to locate the perfect spot for panning, which involved using the red chimney and grass as landmarks, were both amusing and effective. We found the location with ease and were delighted to spend time learning about the history and geology of the area from Jhob.Jhob's enthusiasm was infectious, and hiya tips and techniques for finding gold were incredibly helpful. They were patient and took the time to ensure that we understood the proper techniques, which resulted in us finding gold in no time!Overall, I highly recommend Jhob as a guide for anyone interested in gold panning. His knowledge and passion for the activity made the experience truly exceptional, and I can't wait to go back and try it again with Jhob as our guide! Cannot recommend enough!

An historic gold mining area

There is so much history here in Tambaroora as can be seen from some relics just sitting on the ground. Great place for prospecting and bush walkers can explore a multitude of fire trails, dirt roads and even see some old roads from the 1850's.
