Central Cafe

Quite a few different meals on the menu which is good.Nothing gluten free listed but they said they could cater for gluten free.Seems to be pretty popular with the locals.However, the next time I'm in Stawell I highly doubt I will go back.The place has no atmosphere, I wouldn't have even known it was a cafe other than I saw some one go in as I was waking past.And the place is freezing. It is the middle of winter and it felt like there was no heating on at all.They have plenty of ceiling fans, so I'm guessing it's ok in summer.I know we are in a country town, but I think they need to put more of an effort in to make the place feel homely and welcoming.Well, that's if they want to attract new customers. If they are happy with just the locals that already go there then all good.

Friendly staff, decent food. Coffee was nicely done! The appearance of the place itself isn’t anything too amazing but the atmosphere feels welcoming as I noticed regulars coming in and out. Nice to see!

Food is awesome, staff are always smiling, especially young Natalie, will always return for a coffee and a chat !

Having waited half an hour for our lunch, with only 4 other diners in the Cafe, the food was of very poor standard. Maybe a little less gasbagging and more attention to what needs to be done they would be a lot better off. It could be a lot cleaner. Don't think I would even go back for coffee.

Coffee really good. Sitting area is basic. Really nice staff.Unfortunately today I came back for a lunch. Had a steak sandwich with the lot. The sandwich was toasted and burned, the unions were burned, the steak was a really thin piece of steak and dry. Not a pleasant meal.

Very disappointed over cooked eggs cold chips schnitzel over cooked nearly cremated served on bread not toast wait time way over the top will not be back

The food is really tasty for what you pay, it's really quite inexpensive. Coffee was nice but I'm a fussy coffee drinker. Was clean and tidy and everyone who served us was pleasant.

Yes, everybody knows that Llewat's is Stawell backwards. Im sick of the voices from the walls asking me if i knew Llewat's was Stawell backwards, i always say yes but they dont go away. One day i had at least 30 separate people arrive at my house asking if i knew that Llewat's was Stawell backwards, i said no to one of them and they took me to Llewat's (which is Stawell backwards) and i got given a milkshake, best milkshake ive ever had.

Took 2 hours to get my food, 10 minutes after ordering food watched worker walk to the super market to get our ingredients to make our food. Absolutely disgraceful. Lacked chromosomes. Owen Summers

Five of us had a lovely meal here. We are all 70+, and after we ordered our meals at the till, we didn't have to leave the table again, the service was so good. Most of our group ordered half serves, wanted an extra plate or cutlery. The wait staff was so obliging and attentive.As we left, the four people from Warrnambool told the staff that the food and service was wonderful, and they wished Llewats had a shop in Warrnambool. In jest they suggested that Llewats open a branch in Warrnambool.
